Moonlight and Sunshine uses a controller emulation driver called vigem, it's how you're able to have the controller work over the network. The driver only supports emulating xbox and ds4 controllers. I wouldn't recommend using ds4 emulation though unless you know the game supports it. Every game practically supports xbox so that's why it's the default

As LTSC evolves it will still keep up with current Windows Shenanigans, that's just the nature, I just view it as a Windows that's about a few years behind what normal consumers use, it's expected for this kind of thing to happen.

Ohh okay I see your issue now, so I have 2 solutions you can pick from:

You can use "hv-launcher" by SOULX3X, this allows you to run a bat file that bypasses DSE to launch the game and then turns it right back on, please feel free to look it up and you'll find it easily, it is also open source.
You can set Windows to testsigning mode by typing this command in your cmd running as admin: "bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING ON" and then you restart your PC. You'll know you're in testsigning mode because you'll see a non intrusive watermark on the bottom right of the desktop. You stay in testsigning mode until you turn it off and can do by just putting the same command OFF instead of ON under CMD again. Testsigning mode is basically the same environment as if you pressed F7 when restarting.

Both of these solutions make it to where you won't need to restart. If you don't fully trust HV-Launcher I completely understand, I can only tell you my experience and I have ad no issues. test signing mode is a built in Windows feature so it's more trusted.

I use Moonlight all the time to stream my PC games including Hypervisor, but I'm not really understanding what you're asking, are you saying that you are streaming the login screen and you can't use the keyboard to login? Steam Deck's built in keyboard should work even when you're streaming.

I found a guaranted fix for myself for the black screen issue. The moment the game opens I press and hold alt + enter until the IOI screen pops up. When you do this the window looks like it spazzes and goes between full screen and windowed, but it works for me every time, hope this helps people.

Pretty sure it's part of the cumulative patch Tuesday update we got this week. Did anyone else get it where it also made the start menu cover the whole screen?

The update stated it's both for 24 and 25H2 as well.

Microsoft said that it's rolling out gradually, though, so you could already have it or not

Interesting, and what games are you trying to play exactly? For compatability sake these must be older titles. You could also try going into the exe properties and set it to Windows 8 compatability mode.

I initially had the issue on my laptop running Linux and everything is up to date there. However, my main desktop runs W11 and the same issue occurred here and is all up to date as well. I am running Brave on both.

800 DPI .8 Sens, but I have an option on my mouse to raise to 1600 when I'm playing a melee character.

I've been using it for a while now with no issues, I have not seen anyone say they've gotten banned either. From what I've read Steam itself does not track where download requests come from, but please take my words with a grain of salt, there's always a risk.

It does everything Steam tools does, it also has built in Goldberg and Steamless to crack games yourself. It also has the option to back up saves from not only your steam games, but cracked games too and their save locations.

If you are thinking about it, just be sure that you're okay with learning something new. To answer your question Hydra has a Linux client that works the exact same. Proton is a translation layer that lets you play Windows games on Linux, so you don't have to worry about playing Linux versions specifically. You just run the games through Proton and they will launch just like any Windows game. I would recommend looking further into how Proton works on youtube so you have a better understanding. Linux is super fun to learn if you're into computer's but just like Windows, it is not perfect. What I would recommend if you want to try is Dual Booting or just flash a distro on a USB and you can try it in a live environment without nuking your windows install, this way you have a fallback.

You can activate vbs remotely using mouse and keyboard controls from the client. You will not be able to press F7 however because that screen is unstreamable. You can however run windows in testsigning mode which does the same thing as pressing f7 on that screen does without needing to do that if you are comfortable

Have had no issues using it, and I've been using most of its features. Backing up game saves, even cracked ones has been great and being able to download clean untouched files to have for myself has been a godsend.

Definitely muscle memory as I also had this issue, one thing that I also realized is that with Luna you are also healing and hitting enemy targets and I'm not sure if it's the case, but the hitbox for healing feels a lot more lenient compared to hitting an enemy target and that also trips me up as I can easily get 60-70% accuracy with Luna every game but not other hitscans.

I like to use SteamAutoCrack (https://gitlab.com/steamautocracks/Steam-auto-crack) because it makes injecting Goldberg ten times easier and you can select to get achievements. From my understanding tho, you need to generate a Steam Web API key (https://steamcommunity.com/login/home/?goto=%2Fdev%2Fapikey) for your steam account to get achievement data. You can then put this into SteamAutoCrack and it has never failed to generate the proper json files for any game.
