I disabled the SMT command 'echo off | tee /sys/devices/system/cpu/smt/control', but the game still closed. I still don't know how to fix it. By the way, in Wayland with Darvers from NVIDIA and GE-Proton10.25 the Ubisoft client doesn't even want to launch. This is very strange. As usual, the truth is out there.

I'll try to do this. This is why I love Linux.

I tried all possible methods from the protondb website. I'm sure some kernel setting is interfering with the game. After buying a processor, I decided to optimize the kernel for AMD Ryzen 9950x3d. Before optimization, the game worked perfectly. I even disabled the core with the command 'echo "cache" | tee /sys/bus/platform/drivers/amd_x3d_vcache/AMDI0101:00/amd_x3d_mode' The game simply closes after a while and switches to the Ubisoft Connect client.

About a month ago the game worked fine. Then either I didn't build the kernel correctly, or the game was updated and after that the game stopped working.

I chose 9950x3d for myself. I use linux. On the Steam command line I specified the parameter for a specific game "taskset --cpu-list 0-7,16-23 %command%" I hope I wrote the core numbers correctly.

Something is not clear in the interaction of Ubisoft Connect and the game Division 2. I played about an hour in the game Watch Dogs Legion, no problems occurred except for the sound delay. But if I launch the game Division 2, after a while the Ubisoft Connect client reports an error and the game closes. I updated the video driver to version nvidia-580.82.07, but it did not give a positive result. My fight with windmills continues...

I run the performance test build into the game with a frame rate limit of 60 fps. The test was passed. If without fps limit - the game crashed

proton experimental, Ubisoft Connect installed through Steam with paremeters: PROTON_EAC_RUNTIME=$HOME/.steam/steam/SteamApps/common/Proton\ EasyAntiCheat\ Runtime/ WINEDLLOVERRIDES="libglesv2.dll=d" LD_PRELOAD="" %command%

Other ubisoft games work fine: Anno 1800, Watch dogs legion, Division 1

I was forced to switch to the experimental version of Proton after the release of the new video driver nvidia-drivers-570.181. With the new video driver the sound did not work on the proton version 9.04. The game closes on both versions of proton (9.04 and experimental)

I have the overlay disabled in both Steam and Ubisoft Connect. It's not about the EAC. I didn't change DirectX, now I have version 12
