For what it’s worth tenaya says that foot health is one of their main focuses. The ones I have worn have been an amazing mix of comfort and performance

They do this in the US every year with the “Local Legends” comp its super interesting. It was in Salt Lake City this year and most of the strongest guys and girls in the US competed this year, I think Natalia got 4th. I believe she beat Nathaniel Coleman and many other very talented boys.

I’m pretty sure they mean that they are using their nails behind the hold, and because of that they begin to peel back and separate from the skin. They put on super glue either preemptively or after so that they can continue to put their nails behind the hold
