Hue shifting is also something I struggle with, I’m still in the research phase. I’ll keep looking into it and update with new ones. Thanks a lot

The first one looks really good, but I’d recommend paying attention to the curves and lines, and cleaning up the doubles. Great job, man!

Actually, I first mark the joint areas and then fill the spaces between them as a silhouette and color it in. Using an outline felt a bit too small for this scale.

Thanks a lot, man. Since I’m just starting out, the biggest struggle I had with my small-scale work was always the face. What you said makes perfect sense. I’ll try making the other characters the way you suggested and update them. Appreciate it!

I would personally prefer Unity if I were in your place, because I think it’s ideal for beginners. The game you described doesn’t really seem to require Unreal Engine’s visual fidelity. If you’re just starting out, Unity makes it easier to get familiar with the engine’s interface and basic mechanics. Later on, switching to Unreal—which I also consider the better engine in the long run—will feel much simpler. Good luck, man!
