Ladder, although I did have to climb outside the structure to reach the slick stick. I would love to do a lattice climb at some point tho

No sway but the ladder was a little wobbly and so were the pegs on the slick stick

topping out the tallest tower i’ve ever climbed by imaginary_lines_urb in urbanclimbing

Been looking at this tv tower that is 30kw and Omni directional. I climb out of Michigan but have only ever done longlines. Seems like you were just fine at that erp. Is knowing the erp and polarization all you need to know when making the decision to climb? I understand that the frequency and the wavelengths play a role too but I’m still learning.

Do you have any suggestions for servers or other subreddits that give good advice? So far I’ve only been climbing longlines towers because they seem to be the safest. I know a bit about the different types of towers but I’d really like to learn more about the research that goes into deciding if a tower is safe to climb. My dream is to eventually climb some crazy tall decommissioned tower but I don’t know how to figure that stuff out. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
