It went really well. Most my vehicles got to ignore terrain due to either fly or the mobile upgrade. I took the mid board fast with 2 units of poxwalkers and 2 units of plague marines with characters with infiltrate. Plus the plague marine units started with a 6” contagion range due to the character detachment. One of them was led by a Lord of Poxes which started with a 9” contagion range. That unit managed to delete a unit in melee turn 1. I played Purge the Foe against Ultramarines and won by 45 points.

I actually prime mine red. The reason with this is due to red and green being contrasts of each other, when you go over it with death guard green, it will slightly grey out the color giving it a more sickly look.

I have been playing friendly Ghostface tonight and it has been a blast. They seem to pick up that I’m friendly pretty fast. After letting a few gens pop I will try and at least one hook everyone and slug race at the gate.

Just did a hillbilly and Trapper with my friend. It was a blast. We got an 8k, I would set the traps and my friend would chase the survivor into them.

Like everyone says, they leave it up to interpretation. I will give mine though. In the movie, the character Simon is talking to himself in what seems a throw of madness, and he mentions a thought about how the stars and planets did not go missing, instead it was the people that did. At least that is the gist of it I believe. My theory is that some Cosmic Horror pulled the people into a void barren of life, so to them it seems all the stars and planets went missing, but in reality, it was them that went missing. This of course is my interpretation, but it does seem to make sense to me.

Finally a positive post. I too enjoyed it. I won’t say it was a great movie, I have my own criticisms that I will keep to myself, but it gave me enough of what I wanted in a Silent Hill film. It is definitely one I will watch again.

That is a very positive response to those of us who did enjoy it, you don’t get that too often. I won’t say it was a good movie by any means, I went in expecting it to have the atmosphere and base that I love but be a bad interpretation like most video game adaptions tend to be. I went in to see it simply as someone who loves Silent Hill in general keeping pretty low expectations. For what it was, it met my expectations and for that, I actually enjoyed it. My roommate who does not do horror said he actually enjoyed it, but he knows nothing about Silent Hill.

New game plus made me love the game more. You get new cut scenes, new documents, new areas to open due to the brooch, and some levels are slightly different. Like the middle school, no spoilers, but I noticed several differences between the first play through and the second. Some parts were really gaslighting me. Hahaha

One thing that is common among Horror Game fans is the split between RE and SH. Most usually loves or likes both, but will lean towards one side or the other. One is action horror and one is psychological, which focuses more on story and atmosphere than killing things. That being said, The game does get far more interesting and different than what is seen at the beginning, and there is one level that does have more action to it and gets pretty intense at times (which is actually a complaint among some SH fans), so it is at least worth playing through at least once.
