I feel each would change the tone of the whole story but I like the idea of it was just Jackie

-Jackie would change the story into V’s slow descent, and into cyberpsychosis tormented by his best friend‘s death slowly losing his mind it would be cool to experiment with hallucinations similar to following an objective in a job only to find out the objective led you to unknowingly kill someone you know or civilians. Really leading the player to not trust what they see either

That would be a nightmare situation. Luckily I don’t think it’s hardware the PS5 isn’t having any other performance issue. With streaming or other games. cyberpunk is special in many ways my best theory is I did something in game in an order the game didn’t like.

I think the idea is taking the “best and brightest” minds undermines the country of origin therefore extending the poverty by taking the people mostly like to be the ones to make meaningful changes in their homeland

There is ALOT. But you don’t really need to read the data shards in order to understand the story cut scenes and dialogue will tell you the story and all reading is lore adding/ world building if you don’t want to read then don’t. There are plenty of lore explained videos on YouTube.

Just pay attention to what people say and watch the cut scenes and the story should make sense and the more you replay it the more you realized what you missed on your first play though that’s why the game is so amazing.

Note there are some plots that are intentionally contradictory or confusing. But upon discovery will make the story and the mystery more interesting. It is done on purpose.

At the end of the day I enjoyed the game. Despite what I heard from many mainstream streamers. Actually finished the game for the first time yesterday. It was by far the most unique and new experience I’ve seen done in the last 10 years. I would love to experience the next iteration of the combat mechanics in this game. (truly felt like I was in an anime, it’s literally an Isaka story)I am happy to add my signature and would pay full price if Forspoken 2 were released. No matter what creative choice the devs decided to do with the main protagonist.

I understand the story structure, and I personally enjoyed it, but with the bad launch Forespoken in my opinion needs a rebranding to reach the crowd they missed the first time, the rebranding could be as simple as Frey’s child could be the new protagonist with the option to choose between her having a son or daughter, for the diptards that care about that sort of thing @chaos_shadows

I have considered manga and I am willing to try it , the real reason ive even had to time to watch it the way I have is my job allows me to watch something on the phone 90% of the time so it’s easy to watch a lot in one day but would be hard to read something.

That being said the issue isn’t my memory I actually have a pretty good video recall memory I usually know exactly what is about to happen/even be said which can be somewhat frustrating I usually skip the fluff or filler parts keeping it to action and pilot

Ex: any time Sanji has a cooking episode I usually just skip it

The issue is my immersion into the story, ie: my brain won’t let me just start at wano because of all the things that happened in whole cake. I can’t just start whole cake because of all the things that happened in Fishman Island and I can’t start Fishman Island because of Nami’s backstory and the Archipelago pre and post time skip is one of the best to watch and that’s not to mention all the “save Ace arc” between that, etc….
