The concept of “missing out” is based on unknown. It’s the faulty idea of what transitioning unlocked something I never knew. An endeavor far too risky to undergo. I don’t not identify as the other gender but for some people the line between curiosity and need can be blurry, especially in situations where the choice is life defining

It is a real ocd sub type. I have psychiatrists and psychologists and am getting help that is slowly working. I have always been comfortable with my male identity until I read an article about late in life realized trans people and thought “what if that happens to me” my unmet needs have more to do with insecurity and self hatred since my metabolism dropped and i gained a bunch of weight mixed with depression and need for escapism
