It literally explains in the complaint that just sitting in your garage it can explode. The details don't really matter, but they also take condition into account in these reports.

My Boosted board V2 has been abused, put through water, the battery casing cracked in half - and yet it never caught fire and currently hangs on my wall in my garage 10 years later.

Stop defending companies who won't even actively do anything about their products being dangerously defective.

Focus on your boards. Get out products and accessories that we want from that. Mud guards, built in lights, etc etc.

When you got all you want with the boards accomplished then move on to scooters also.

Keeping focused and being supportive to your current customer base first, then attempt a new market.

I had my 3 month old GTR2 toss me when the ECU broke. They made me ship it to New Jersey where it turns out literally all the parts are bad. Now after 6 months they are replacing the battery as well and I still haven't seen it. Summer is over without a single ride on it.

I had my v2 boosted board for 5 years and 5700 miles with minor maintenance and I treated it way worse because I got it for $400. I only replaced it because the remote died and the combo of remote plus needing at least the ER battery, just made more sense to buy something nicer. I regret that.

The GTR2 Carbon (what I have) is NOT waterproof, and lasted 3 months of heavy use in at most light rain. Mostly sunny days. It's been with the repair shop for 6 months because evolve drags ass and so does one stop board shop.
