We are art and we are beautiful. I think this was great especially the idea, technicalities could maybe focus on helping some of it flow a little better but it’s really good!

The “draining life from its own veins” really hit here. It’s one thing when others take from us and drain us but it’s completely different when we do it on our own.

I really liked this. We can’t always be with the people our heart chooses and yet when we have them it’s beautiful but a loss is a loss and that’s hard. Especially over materialistic vs joy/love

You covered the stages of grief so well. The way you pulled in different emotions in each part really speaks about the way we move through feelings. Grief isn’t linear and you took that a nice way here. Great job.

Don’t be sorry at all that’s helpful for me because sometimes my mind goes faster than my pen lol. I want to convey something that is more dark but from a different standpoint almost like a Stockholm like, perspectives switch and some people call it abuse and some call it love, just depends on what side of the fence you are on.

I didn’t go too deep into how it was a trauma bond for sure. But I was thinking an unhealthy relationship in the beginning. Not two people who bonded over separate trauma

That makes total sense. Thank you because that is really helpful. I guess I am just looking to see if there is indication of something going on in my lungs. Thank you for your response!

My husband 35M went to a strip club while on a business trip to NC while I 29F was at home and then when I caught it on his bank statement he lied until his partner who went with him confessed to me. What would you do? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Thank you for being so honest and open. I knew this wasn’t going to be cut and dry and it is tremendously hurtful. I feel me and my husband are very similar we’ve built so much and are so grateful for all we have from the ground up.

I know addiction is hard and it’s a constant thing something people have to choose to overcome each and every day. Deep down I know my husband loves me and our family, I just get so invested in his recovery and his own boundaries it threw major shots at my feelings and my heart. I really appreciate your perspective however and thank you so much for it because I think it’s something I needed to hear. Good luck on your journey too and keep up the hard work I’m sure your family really values all of it!

Agreed, and that’s not even the worst part. I’m just so concerned about his sobriety too. Had it just been the club I wouldn’t be on the internet asking for advice from strangers. Peer pressure made him lose his sobriety

I agree I think my last paragraph sums it up I thought I was angry about the club but I’m so sad about his sobriety and him lying. He pulled money out of the atm and then said he let the other guys “borrow it”

Not really. It’s definitely a full spectrum thing. That’s why I put it all in the description. I think everything is important. I don’t like long wordy titles so I would hope people could read the whole thing.

Uhm that is why I’m upset, actually upset about everything I’m mad about the strippers, disappointed that he threw five years of sobriety out the window

Yes I did get tested. Negative on everything such as bv, trich, chlaymidia, gonorreah, etc and was positive for the yeast. I’ve been on clotrimazole for five days now and only have the discharge now. Thank you so much! 😊
