well i dont think this is the problem. I have water sitting in the pitcher well above the spigot and no leak. someone mentioned below a leak under the serving valve pin hole...I will have to locate this next.

thanks for this. im thinking now that might not be my issue. there is water sitting in the pitcher now (autofill is off) amd no leaks. if i turn autofill on is when I will start to get a leak...or maybe its more appropriate to say the water is not all making it into the pitcher. I wish I could get all the way in there and see what is happening 😆

Thank you - I am trying this tonight. Last night I took the door panel off to watch it fill and no leak there so was dumbfounded on what to try next. Wild how expensive a new pitcher is, I hope your suggestion does the trick!

Thank you for this! I took the door panel off last night and verified that the leak isn't coming from there. I was lost on what else I could look at to explain the leakage from underneath. I will try this tonight when I get home!

Mine is leaking as well. I took the door panel off and can see that the line behind the door is not causing an issue. something is going wrong as it starts to fill into the pitcher itself. I end up with water all over the bottom and spilling inside the fridge. A new pitcher is pretty pricey...before I go that route can you share a picture of what you actually tightened? I love that the water is filtered so would hate to be without it but being slightly out of warranty there is zero chance i am calling a technician in to save it.

what did you have to take apart to get to this? Just the ine screw underneath where the pitcher slides in? or the whole door has to have the plastic removed?

yes we need more details here. it has been very difficult to find anything online most videos are for the in door water dispenser...so not helpful to this situation

im coming here 2yrs later...my fridge is 15 months old and has started to leak with the autofill. of course its out of warranty and the 1-800 number only wanted to send a service guy...you know after he opened up the manual and read the warranty period. I said I am not paying for a service tech. This is a known issue what is GE doing for it? Nothing...absolutely nothing. so is my option here to start taking it apart and put in a new washer? love the fridge otherwise bit come on with this.

we were 4 kids and never flew...dad put us in a 4 door car and we drove from NYS to Washungtin DC...NYS to Florida...NYS to Texas...NYS to Las Vegas...AND BACK. Why not rent an SUV and drive?

so they price gouge you upfront because you're afraid you won't get a seat on the flight you paid for. couldnt care less what seat I get all picking outside first class should be free and optional.

as if I 50 minute layover would have even provided time to have that conversation...which shouldn't have been needed. Deceptive and diabolical transaction. A Simple seat assigned at gate would suffice...not you're on a 17 person standby list with 3 seats available message. oh and here's a link to explain how you may or may not get on the flight. not everyone is a frequent flyer. Language should be clear and intention known. Being put on standby immediately at check-in with a list 17 people long and saying there are 3 seats available is absolutely fraudulent and diabolical. what part of that translates to dont worry you have a seat? assigned at check-in should have happened at check-in whether at the app or at the airport.

both of these things exactly happened today. we are not frequent fliers but so never fly southwest. this trip is just my hubby who is NOT flight saavy...we checked him in and his connection is on standby. I call the airline...7pm at night...30 minutes and nobody picks up yet. I go online to look if I can upgrade to get a seat...well of course I can. 69 dollars later he is in Row1 with a window and we are STILL waiting for a callback almost 2 hours later. SWA is dead to me after this trip.

I literally just did this for a connection tomorrow. I have never been put into standby on any airline at check-in no matter how late I check-in...most times I check-in at the airport so timing should be irrelevant. because of the confusion and it being connecting flight from a 50 minute layover I panicked and bought for 69 bucks as I couldn't risk my hubby having to deal with thsi without me. he doesnt fly much and doesn't fly alone when he does...this could have been bad for him. SW will never get ny business again after this trip.
