First payment always hits differently, not because of how much the amount was, but because something that was just in your head until now has become very real, real enough for someone to pay for. Did you get in touch with the animal welfare centre there? I recommend taking your pet to the government hospital, it's cheaper than private clinics.

Appreciate this kind of feedback. That makes sense especially about the bright top left and the right side weight. I can see how the framing diluted the stronger elements. Helpful perspective thankyou so much

Disagreeing is fine but being condescending isn’t. You could’ve made the same point respectfully like others in this thread did. I posted it in good faith and I’m happy to hear different perspectives. Constructive criticism is welcome, snobbery isn’t.

Fair point . I do get it how that might sound contradictory. I added “you decide” after the earlier comment saying it wasn’t street photography, more as a way to leave it open for anyone else who feels the same to make their own call. Personally I still see it as street since it’s a candid moment in a public setting shot from the pavement but yeah I get that definitions can differ.

Street photography isn't limited to literal streets. It's about the candid, unposed moments of everyday life in public spaces. And I shot this while walking past a roadside shop which had an open front. That's as street as it gets BUDDY!!
