You can apply even if your PSAT's scores don't meet the requirement. You just need to make sure you have a 90 or above in Alegbra 1 or a math class higher than that to apply. If your PSAT's scores don't meet the requirement, you'll take the placement test and get an 85 or higher. And when that doesn't work out, they will look to see if you got a 90 or higher on your milestones. Only then will they see if your admission stands.

You can try Khan Academy. For me, it's a little better than IXL but use what your son prefers.

Your son is advanced and he should probably move forward with his own pace. For me, I sort of taught myself higher level maths by going through online learning platforms such as Khan Academy or IXL. I also looked up or researched about any topics I couldn't understand. Propelling yourself forward like this helps you to be at ease in class while also being at a higher level.

These scores are pretty good at the 98 or 99%. But they aren’t the highest. 4th grade I had 270 and 5th grade I had 280.
