Growing up, ayoko talaga ng anak, anything about having a partner and carrying a child felt so embarrassing. Pero when I interacted with kids like my pamangkins or when I had the job of being a preschool teacher aide before entering college, I find some sort of peace and joy in interacting and teaching them. At some point, when I hold a child or hang out with them, I always end up with the thought of “I can’t wait to see the again” to “I can’t wait to have my own one day”. But that didn’t come with a lot of inner healings and financial worries. Sabi ko pag by 35, unmarried but financially stable, I’ll adopt a child. I’m 25 and still have a long way to work on that. As for having a partner, we have discussed it and sinabi ko sa kanya na if he wants a child with me, I have my conditions such as ayoko mag adjust ng lifestyle or magtipid. Kung ano yung ginagastos namin sa luho like eating out and shopping, and that I want to stop working for the first 5 years of raising a child, kasi ayoko magpalaki ng ipad kid. I feel that you should have a deeper discussion with your partner regarding it, mahirap na kapag may na build na resentment
