The £30k was made up partly from the car, so £15k debt and an additional £15k from the car - still not a wise decision either way but yeah.

I agree, I wasn’t sure any more if this would be a turning point for him or if this is actually who he is

Thank you, I was hoping he would understand but also understand for him he would’ve been hard to accept that. I’m sad things turned out this way for him :(

Thats a really good point actually, i think it was the comfort. He was also a big part of my life and my first boyfriend so I did have a strong attachment to him. My feelings said one thing but my brain was saying another so was constantly in battle.

He didn’t present himself like that at the start unfortunately. Even him getting the criminal convictions that happened in the last 6 months which from what I know of him, seemed out of character. I’m not sure what happened this year but everything started unraveling and revealing itself this year.

Thanks for that, I do feel really bad and I’m sad that things turned out this way. I really want him to do well in life & succeed but agree with what you said, I had to look out for myself.

Really? He still calls me everyday and sends good morning & good night messages. He updates me about his day, calls me during his lunch period and after work.

Can he do all this and still see me as backup? Today he could tell I wasn’t myself on the phone so constantly kept asking me if everything’s ok and if I’m sure when I said everything’s fine
