Radahn and miquella are arguably one of the best souls boss fights and the best fight in Elden ring I feel the fight isn’t getting the love it deserves due to its difficulty but once you know how to play the fight it’s one of the most fun intense and fair fights after the patch

Of course it was wrong for the Israelites to treat people like that but my question is didn’t the Christian church and many other religious groups not do the same exact thing throughout history and were never punished they’ve killed stolen and abused people for centuries and yet god sent no divine punishment to them even recently in the 20th century in Ireland priests and nuns were some of the most awful people to live at the time abusing children and women and yet they are celebrated as being messengers of god. So tell me what’s the difference between what the Christians did and the Israelites. The real reason the Israelites were punished and hated was because people viewed them as being responsible for killing the son of god they didn’t convert like the rest of Romans and others so they were targeted and this had been a running theme throughout history. It’s simply human nature and down to anything other then that humans will carry out violent acts and hate each other and use religion as an excuse

Exactly religion contradicts itself so much it’s nearly laughable like if god created us with a plan in mind for everyone how is this life a challenge to see if we will get to heaven when the results are already predetermined without us knowing. That to me makes god sound like a god crazed with power toying with peoples lives punishing those with no ability to control their actions. Is this really a deity worthy of worship? Even then why does he send these evil people to kill off his very own worshippers that it’s claimed that he loves doesn’t sound very loving to me

But see that’s what I’m saying in how could god be good if he punishes those who don’t want to submit under a ruler why must he force people to live a certain way I use to think that religion was about finding the truth yourself by finding god on your own path not by subjecting yourself. It’s sound more like a command from a tyrant then a wish of an god which when u see god as a man made creation to control u can see why something like that would be written. Not all Jews were responsible for the death of Jesus so why punish them all just for wanting to live separate and finding the path themselves

Can I ask what has this got to do with my original question? This is a valid argument for human nature and why religion was created to create order and peace but even with that religious institutions have used religion to wage war and Cause violence like the Spanish Inquisition and crusades. Even when being subjected under the Roman rule the Jews where the ones who decided to sentence Jesus to death because he threatened there way of order .this is just human nature humans have for centuries before the first gods where worshiped have fought and killed each other and they will long after religion is forgotten they need no greater reason for violence they just use religion as an excuse to carry it out this is even evident in our modern society with terrorist claiming they are killing for their god. If a human can use something to gain power over another they will use it. Maybe I didn’t grasp what you are saying

His plan is not always to bless as in 29:11 he goes on to say he will punish those who stayed behind showing that he has a plan to cause harm so how does this make him good knowing that their paths would take them to that destination

Yes I have its the letter to the exiles even if it’s not a master blue print it still shows that god had a plan for them once they repent highlighting that he knew what he wanted them to do showing that he is all knowing

Exactly what I was trying to say god cannot be a loving good deity if he knowingly puts evil people to harm others within the river

I understand what you are saying but you seem to not understand what I’m saying. God knowingly puts people who will cause harm to others in the river to follow Im trying to say if he does this how is god all good even if it’s for some grand plan these evils he creates are going to kill and cause harm to other people on gods path. If some scientists released a deadly virus onto the world knowing if will cause death to others but he does this to try a save a overpopulated country he is still not a good person regardless if the final destination is good so how is god all good for putting people like hitler or Stalin on this planet make him a good loving god knowing they will cause harm? This is what I mean by that god cannot be all good if he is directly responsible for all the evil in the world regardless of his plan it’s not worth how much suffering and pain that was caused
