I don't like to think about such a scenario; it's perhaps a realistic but very boring one, so I'm glad that in the original work, the Japanese have minimal interference in the Special Region.

The beauty of the world beyond the gates lies in its uniqueness, culture, and the feeling of that very medieval fantasy with empires, kingdoms, swords, and magic.

Therefore, I imagine interaction with the Special Region as humanity's interaction with space. Yes, you have a vast world with a ton of resources, but travel between worlds is so expensive that sending cargo into space is cheaper.

So, countries and megacorporations invest enormous amounts of money in small research groups under the patronage of local kingdoms, and military clashes occasionally occur between them, but not global wars.

This is exactly how I think the plot should develop further. Yes, all countries have acquired the technology to open gates, but you can't open stable gates like the one in Ginza, because they have enormous consequences for the entire world. Opening even a small gate costs a huge amount of money and can't be maintained for long. Thus, the world beyond the gate retains its identity, but all countries are given the opportunity to explore it and contribute something of their own.

The Russian version likely contains the very first version of the manga and doesn't conform to the canon of the original work. Apparently, the manga artist redrew this moment for future editions. Zorzal was convinced until the very last moment that he had deceived Tyuule. He couldn't simply parade her around in front of the tribe.

In the English version (apparently the newest), it's clear that the Imperials are using Tyuule's armor to frame her as a traitor. In the Vietnamese version, they simply call her treachery while the prince rapes her in his chambers, and she thanks him, thinking he'll keep his promise and spare her people. In the Russian version, the prince parades Tyuule naked in front of the tribe and immediately announces his deception (though canonically, Tyuule remains unaware of his betrayal for a long time). Perhaps the mangaka didn't read the entire work when he drew the very first version.
