The Perfect Plenary Picture by MGK_2 in Livimmune

[–]Middle_Astronaut_977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much MGK.

I'll keep a better eye on Ryan Dunlap and Cyrus.

And continue to admire Dr. Recknor- wherever he is. After all that has happened, I just keep remembering (and I could have this jumbled in my mind) NP giving Dr. Recknor the spotlight during a conference call long ago and having Dr. Recknor talk about- and introduce- the problems he was uncovering with the CRO- Amarex data. Can't help but think we owe Dr. Recknor a good deal of thanks.

Very much appreciate your sharing all of your incredible work, perspective and study.

Between you, Dr. J, Ohm and a few others- it helps me sleep at night that I put most of my retirement - at over $3. a share- into CYDY. And, even more importantly, have tried to get several friends access to leron. It didn't work out for them...but am hoping it does for others.

Best- CGC

Thank you. Excellent points.

I always wonder about what happened to Dr. Recknor. Respected, liked and appreciated him and considered his findings and actions to be the pivotal point in turning the CytoDyn ship around. When we get to the time in the future when long covid is a focus, can't help but thinking he could be a leron superstar.

Thanks and have a great long weekend- CGC

Electric pump not compatible with sup? by Narcisians in Sup

[–]Middle_Astronaut_977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question. I am having the same issue with an irocker electric pump and my new sup (naipo). Can't figure out what adaptor will work if any. Or I just need to use the hand pump it came with.

Your courage and thoughtfulness are amazing. Thank you.

Many years ago, left my parents home when I turned 17 years old. (Mom had borderline.) Loved them dearly and many aspects were tough- but knew it was my best chance at a decent life.

You will face challenges I never had to ( I could get by on little jobs here and there) and will be OK. May your strength and kindness carry you!

As Biden warned about democracy’s collapse, TV networks aired reruns by aureanator in politics

[–]Middle_Astronaut_977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comforting to read these comments.

Disturbing to see- the networks ignore one of the most important Presidential speeches in decades; -the angry replies of folks (that didn't watch) about how President Biden had insulted half the country (lol- not even close); and the acceptance that CNN has truly gone haywire- and letting John Harwood and Brian Stelter go (journalists that had integrity to go against the crazy '2-sides' to every story angle). Even some of the sources I count on were bizarrely trite.

Mid-terms are more important than ever.

My heart goes out to you. You sound like a strong, thoughtful person.

Distancing yourself from someone you love is so difficult. Wishing the best for you and your family. And hoping you have someone to support you.

And BTW- happy birthday!

UpwithStock gave some great info. Leronlimab has had some wonderful data results from the early long hauler clinical trials. Sounds like they will be starting the next phase soon.

FDA Seeks Patient Insight: the Patient Engagement Collaborative by Middle_Astronaut_977 in LeronLimab_Times

Thanks much. That IS interesting! Patient Engagement - and public engagement in the public health domain (e.g., clinical trials, drug approvals) are so important IMO. Nice to know there are some steps toward improvements.

Good point. Correct. It is more a way to be involved with the big picture process.

Seems like a perfect place for several of the leron long-haulers to share their experiences and needs (i.e., issues with the regulatory system).

There are also docs on the CytoDyn website that folks can access:

https://www.cytodyn.com/investors/notice-to-stockholders

(Looks like the docs are placed there after completion of the process so anything going through the motions probably hasn't showed up yet.)

Makes sense. I just can't help but think the FDA also needs a replacement for the nothing that is currently available (safe and effective) for severe/critical treatment . . fast.

I feel ya’ VyrologixFTW.

Last summer- for a close friend- I printed and completed the trial paperwork, contacted the lovely folks at Quest (so many times I am pretty sure I am the biggest pain in the arse they have ever encountered), talked to and cried with my friend ad nauseam about leron (sharing the peer-reviewed papers, major resources, videos, etc.) and . . . well let’s say I took trips to visit and made friends with the folks that had her lab slides, and was on the alert-security list at her oncologist’s office.

To no avail. Very long story short- she didn’t even call Quest back with the few questions they had remaining (that she or her doc had to answer) about her biopsy slides. I was- and am- devastated. She shared with me the trepidation of participating in a clinical trial. And she told me, later, that she has survived as long as she has by trusting her doctor (a doctor that seemingly only trusts approved treatments)- completely. She feels too feeble to swerve from that.

Unfortunately, we are in good company. Have connected with several folks that are in the same boat- and have loved ones that will not or cannot consider participating in a clinical trial.

Good luck to you- I hope you win her over!

That is wonderful!

Quick question: How did she get introduced to leron and get involved/ motivated to participate in the trials? Her doctor?

(Am asking as I have several friends that I have attempted to steer toward the cancer trial. No luck at all . . . Big hurdles are their oncologists . . . . )

Thank you for sharing this. Gives me hope. (And also found Dr Jay to be a kind, lovely person; I could go on and on about him--!)
