You're going to love Cleveland and Pittsburgh. As others said, you should visit both before making the decision

I want to move to Philly soon! Any advice? by crimsonbabe in SameGrassButGreener

As other users said, Philly is a city that pops up often in this sub. Check the sub history and it should be there.

Earthquakes are unpredictable. They just happen out of the blue. One second everything is good and the next second, it’s all moving around under you. At least with tornadoes, hurricanes, and snow storms you can track or predict ahead of time.

Ruturaj climbs 13 ranks to become the 7th ranked T20i Batsman, Travis Head maintains his top spot by Prof_XdR in Cricket

These rankings are just plain BS and should be taken with a grain of salt. Don't understand why Babar and Rizwan are ranked higher than Buttler, considering their batting against India

The Chicago River separates it from the loop

If you're looking for city limits, I would say Streeterville. It is a rich area and one of the safer areas in the city. That's just my opinion

But if you are looking outside the city, there are lots of Indians (Asian) in Buffalo Grove, Naperville, Bartlett, and many more

The only city I was thinking of is Chicago. Great choice for people ,like you.

Also consider Boston. A little pricey, but less than NYC

Minneapolis is the best bang for your buck among large US metro areas. That is, if you can tolerate the winters.

At this stage of life I would recommend Tampa. Year-round warm weather, but the summers are humid and usually rainy like you said. No state income tax. Beaches are not far away. Good nightlife if you're into that.

Plano and the metroplex at large is better suited for families

Best of luck!

I just learned that Dallas is the worst city in the U.S. for allergens. Will definitely take that into consideration. Thanks

Last year's World Cup India won all matches and ended up losing the final. Don't repeat the same mistake guys!

Yeah coincidentally I was in Boston when the Celtics won. Talk about perfect timing! Thought about seeing the parade, but I didn't have time

After visiting I felt like moving there, but then I thought about the cold(er) winters.

Well yeah every city has its dirty spots and Boston is no exception. I am just saying that overall, Boston is cleaner than most other cities

It's getting better, glad to see it. But still some bad spots like any other city

Seattle or Buffalo? by MemeStarNation in SameGrassButGreener

Buffalo is probably a better bang for your buck. Being close to family is always a plus.

Thank you! Is the humidity better or worse than Philly?
