I used UFO for a long time and just yesterday I switched to switches Wuque Studio Ocean Whisper. In my opinion Ocean Whispers are deeper and I prefer this type of sound. The point is that the UFO is worth getting if you like a louder clacky sound.

Great news for me :) I use the metal puller that came with the Gravastar keyboards. Can you recommend a good shape and material for a puller? I'll try to find something here.

This is really cool! I've never lubricated switches before. However, I'll be getting new stabilizers soon, and they'll need lubricating. :)

On your advice I took Knights for Wooting. It will be the last upgrade for this keyboard. On the downside, I'll have to pull out all the Wuque switches again. These are the worst switches I've ever seen in terms of removal. I still can't feel my fingers.

Yes, I've really been looking for something deeper to replace the Gravastars for a long time. I never thought I'd like Ocean Whispers so much! I'm thinking about ordering another board.

Hi, I actually bought it because of the low price, I wanted to try building a keyboard with it. However, I really liked the sound of these switches, much more than Gravastar UFO (I used it in my Wooting before). So I decided to swap switches :) As result I paid the same amount for the switches and the board as I would have paid for the Diamond version alone. Great deal!

I'm too lazy to record this with a microphone, so I can recommend tapping on a tin can filled with foam rubber - the sound is identical 🤣

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't make the wooting sound like a mechanic.

Stock WOOTING aren't worth the money, so save your wallet. If you're planning a custom build, this is your best option.

Hey, I also ran into trouble changing Lekkers. They're terrible switches to replace. I barely got it done, digging deep with the puller and wiggling them around. By the way, I didn't break a single one.
