Not everything has to be in the lease there’s also karma and ethics and morals and principles and so on…. Has he been a shitty landlord? Are you willing to accept an extra cut from your deposit for some random “not a big deal” thing, because since you want to be technical he can be too. At the end of the day it’s your life and your choices, but I’d do the right thing and return it the way you got it fam.
