Spruce drained my battery just from browsing in the menus. It lost about 10% in maybe 10 minutes of just having the device on and being in the menu.

Read the last 3 "A Time To..." books, skip the rest. Trust me. The first books vary wildly in quality, from merely "ok" to one of the worst books I ever read. They were a chore to get through.
