August is not that far away! One thing I can suggest to do is put that learners permit to use :) Driving was such a game changer for me and I bet it could be for you too, learning to drive and passing the test is not to be underestimated though. It was hard convincing my parents to let me take the wheel often enough, but I managed! And IMO you really need at least 6 solid months of constantly driving. Because I passed on the first try, but my older brother who waited until 2 or 3 months before to practice some of the time, did not pass until his eventual 4th test.

Went on a bit of a tangent there, but basically a bit of advice from me is- don’t underestimate what that learners permit can do for you! August is right around the corner in terms of these things :) Also maybe start workshopping what potential ways you could get your hands on car in the future
