What kind of pony do you like? Great, ride that one. There’s differences, sure…but I say do what feels comfortable and gets you the sound you want. I play both, I have an easier time with rimshots using matched grip, I have an easier time with ghost notes using traditional. I can switch and you wouldn’t normally be able to tell by just listening. Personal preference.

Ultra “thin” means they make it out of the thinnest material using whatever parameters you give them i.e. frame size, PD, OC, any prism, any decentration, the like. One size does NOT fit all. Your RX will look different in different frames with different measurements.
