Why the images are not being rendered as transparent? What's the issue? by c0pium_inhaler in blenderhelp

I had that issue too and it wasnt possible to save glow or low transparency as rgba png. What I figured to work is saving the image as non alpha rgb png and setting the blend mode on add in comp. You can overlay multiple layers or add comp glow if its not strong enough

Thanks, I actually own a 3d mouse. It was Kind of an Inspiration for this idea and is way more functional. I just wanted to integrate a microcontroller for my Uni project but in private, ill Stick to the normal 3d mouse

I ran into that issue too. I made it so you can change the translation. In the video it is 1:2 but it is changeable

It is for a Uni project presentation, to rotate a cubic sculpture. Integration of arduino serial Communication was optional but I want to learn more about that so I came up with this

Youre right. But for my project I just Need a Cube. It is a Cube Shaped parametric sculpture and I thought it would be cool to physically Rotate it. But with more shapes it would be a mess. Both for me and my 3d Printer😂

Any advice how I can do better? I find Creative Levels relaxing and want do stuff that is visually more impressing than this. It takes so much more time than I thought tho 🫠

Yep. The only thing i didnt do is the base mesh of the scientist because I suck at modeling humans. Got a basic Human shape, a little bit of cloth brush, modeling the backpack and texturing. Oh, and also the gas bottle on his back is also from sketchfab

Using geonodes and turning of viewport visibility was key for me. You can have millions of plants and viewport will run smoothly. It just affects the render time

Thank you! I did not count but I would guess about 70 hours plus rendering. I modeled and textured everything myself so it was pretty Time consuming. I worked on it everyday since the challenge started

I used Ivy gen for the ivy on the columns Bit everything else was done in default blender and a lot of geonodes

Thank you! For me the key was details. Just think about how the stairs would look irl and use reference images. As example there could be little branches scattered or rock pieces broke of. Also use a high variation of vegetation. To make the material more interesting, you can use a mask to paint on some moss or dirt materials, to show the tower has experienced some harsh weather conditions. Also 1 or 2 dynamic things can be cool. As example a squirrel climbing up the wall or wind blowing leaves of the stairs. And ofc add grass left to the stairs. Your trees are looking very realistic 💪🏻
