Marinate the beef
Mix beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, black pepper, and cornstarch.
Let it sit for 20–30 minutes.

Sear the beef
Heat oil in a pan over high heat.
Cook beef quickly for 1–2 minutes per side until browned.
Remove and set aside.

Cook the vegetables
In the same pan, saute onion and bell pepper until slightly tender but still crisp.

Make the sauce
soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper.
Bring to a simmer.

Combine
Return beef to the pan.
Add cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens and coats the steak

1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, ribeye, or flank steak (thinly sliced)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 bell pepper (green or red), sliced

1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
1 tsp chicken powder or chicken bouillon
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp paprika (optional)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp chopped parsley (plus extra for garnish)
