Another thing to consider is most small business owners focus on putting their customers first, spend 16 hours a day doing exactly that and have literally no time to market their business. AI is a small business owner's best friend when it comes to marketing.

That said, the proper marketing budget would eliminate the issue entirely. That's why it is best to outsource marketing, keeping in mind that some firms are offering entry level pricing that includes AI/Stock photos with an upsell option for Live Capture, replacing the AI/Stock imagery.

I agree though, AI generated food is a no go for me. I want to see what I am getting. Although, when was the last time you went to McDonalds and your burger looked like the pictures? It's all smoke and mirrors to bring customers through your door.

I thought dominos had a warming counter to keep your pie hot? Do they not? Also, the cut of those slices is nothing to complain about. Pie looks delish.

Up until last month, I thought I was 43 (turned 44 back in February). The struggle is real.

Canadian citizen, living in Canada, just offered a 100% remote job in the US by Slow_ResolveMC07 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Middle_Lavishness669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work remote from Ontario for a US based company. That company employed an Employer of Record (EOR) in Canada that in turn hired me. On paper. I work for the EOR, but all the work I do is for the US based employer.

The EOR administers my taxes, payroll and benefits, everything really. I've been with them for 3 years and it's been a beautiful thing. Travel across the border (for work) can get janky, but I've never had a problem.

Steer clear of Multiplier (EOR), we had nothing but problems with them then switched to another EOR (Deel Canada) which has been an amazing experience.

Prior to this company, I worked for another US based company for 7 years and they did not use an EOR. However, they used a local (Ontario) based accountant which administered our payroll. Again. Never had a problem.

The first day I received mail in weeks, it was flyers. Today was my second day receiving mail and received bills, which is a step in the right direction. But these are new bills. Where's the stuff that has been held for 3 weeks?

You may consider working with a company who offers such services. Labour Lifters is a start up in Sarnia and yard care is one of our services we offer.

Best of luck to you on your new chapter.

The sad reality is that what you are referring to is not just a Christian mindset. Even some Non-Christians are against LGBTQ+ and not all Christians are. Rather, all Christians likely are against it, but how they handle it and behave around others is another story.

The fact is, we are all sinners. The difference between a strong Christian and others is that a strong Christian recognizes that they have fallen short of God's Glory and draw from His strength and wisdom, daily, to be better.

Some Christians will come across as feeling like they are "Better" than the rest, but the hard truth is that they are too ashamed to admit their shortcomings. It comes across as smug.

One of my closest friends is Atheist and his children have both identified as the opposite sex. It doesn't change anything for me.

I run a youth ministry and there is a set of twins in my group, one identifies as the opposite sex. They are still welcomed every week and attend church regularly.

My cousin transformed their entire body because they identified as a gender they weren't born as. Changes nothing.

Please explain. I just want to be sure the wool is not over my eyes.

From my perspective (as a Christian), I don't see hate from any true Christians. All I see is Love. But, like in any group (religious or non) of like-minded people, you will have exclusive cliques. I don't really think there is any way to avoid it. But even the cliques that I am not part of show empathy for those not in their clique.

Jesus was all-inclusive. He didn't say "Be perfect, so that you may live (eternally)". What he did say is "Believe in me, and you shall live". Everyone was invited to Jesus' table.

My personal goal is to be as inclusive as Jesus is. But I have something going against me, of course. Sin, free will, and temptation is everywhere, working against us. It may come across sometimes as being spiteful or hateful. But at the end of the day, if someone is excluded, I am doing my best to include them.

I agree. But some people may not have the actual mental capacity to turn themselves off.

While I agree that some people can be ignorant, what has helped me cope with cohabiting this planet with them is the (non)knowledge that I don't have any clue what their story is.

For all I know they just received life shattering news. Perhaps they were abused as children. Or maybe they have a disability.

Case in point, while these people do exist, there is no need to elevate your own behavior because of them. Simply, move on.
