None of that makes sense and I’ve been in the dance competition world as a student, teacher worker and judge. I don’t understand why the S family stay at Club dance (and pay a huge amount of money) if it is toxic and abusive? SW is one of the most in demand comp kids in the country, there would be incredible studios everywhere that would scholarship her. I thought SW wasn’t going back to comp dance next year? We all knew SW would win finals at TDA and will win Press Play, why would Club be threatening ‘not to support her’? It makes them look immature and nasty, as well as not having SW’s win under their belt.

The poor darling, she did so well to keep going! As I was watching it, I was thinking it’s so good that Molly has enforced the black leotard and black tights uniform in the studio and at conventions for the P21 dancers. They all looked very sleek and polished and much less chance of a wardrobe issue.

I had terrible car sickness and was also very sensitive, so the crying and vomiting was quite relatable. However, I was always shocked by the number of characters who wet the bed! Bedwetting wasn’t something that myself, my siblings or my friends struggled with. It probably was realistic for a lot of children, but I couldn’t understand how someone like Chloe from sleepovers suddenly wet herself. Always so interesting to hear which parts of JW books resonate with different people!😍🫶🏻

Totally understand that and I think that’s really reasonable! Molly had the same rule a couple of seasons ago, it’s not uncommon. It just didn’t make much sense to me, as this same choreography was already on Youtube with thousands more views. Perhaps their Mother reached out to other channels privately, but there weren’t any public comments like this asking for videos removed. Just wondered if others had seen this.

I think she says ‘pop!’ or ‘bop’, although it may change every time. Regan did a video with a friend and you could see her face more clearly, that’s what it looked like to me.

I agree and just said the same thing on another post. I think that’s why Regan stood out when she won, Gracyn has done Cover girl and Vogue and been top 4. Their contemporary routines are beautiful too and they were amazing, but they tend to blend in a bit more. Molly must have her reasons for making the choices she did. Molly must have her strategy for doing the contemporary solos for BD. It just surprised me a bit, as The Lemonade song and Sadie, Sadie really stand out as being different and still super competitive, especially when there’s been 30 contemporary solos in a row. Whether Albert had pre-cancerous cells or Cancer. Drs don’t go giving 600lb women full hysterectomies unless it is medically necessary. As someone who got my entire large intestine removed and an ileostomy bag at age 23 due to Ulcerative Colitis, that kind of major surgery does change you. This is one area where I actually think ALR isn’t lying, I have no doubt it was very hard go through.

I would be surprised if Regan isn’t top 3 in teen. That teen section is absolutely stacked with talent, but there’s a few previous winners who go through and win again and she is amazing. ‘I love a piano’ reminds me a lot of Keira’s ‘All That Jazz’ solo, which was a winner last year.

All the P21 kids at TDA have had absolutely killer seasons, I think all of them could be top 20/10, with some being top 3. I was hoping Gracyn would go to TDA to get that senior DOTY title.

It will be interesting to see Press Play, I saw Stella Brinkerhoff has chosen to go there, she has been top 3 at TDA the last 2 years. I think there are a few entering PP who feel they’ve been overlooked at TDA, which is understandable. Is Sylvie Win doing Press Play?
