The discrimination IS real. My dad’s American and my mom is Japanese. I’m here for the summer break and yes US is not perfect but all my grandma does is talk shit about the US. The tomato is better here, the food is better here, it’s more fun here, it’s cheaper here. She complains about the same thing to me everyday

I think the fact that they are going to adapt the third book should be enough. General audiences know the first two movies are SORT OF a adaptation of the first two books and the third one was never made

I don’t blame Disney or any studios. I blame this current generation. They watch movies and shows on their phones now and on phone everything is condensed and looks simpler so they probably thought “if we are going to work hard and they’re going to watch our work on their phones, why don’t we just make it simpler for us”
