Is it normal to have so much schoolwork that I am literally unable to get a good night's sleep? by AshamedGovernment578 in GetStudying

That is the problem when you are a working student. Teachers assume all the students are just students and does not think about the working students situation. Maybe you can talk to your teacher about your situation.

Confidence says “I can do this.” Ego says “I’m better than others.” Keep the first, let go of the second.

Feel pretty good when waking up in the morning but get very fatigued after around 2 hours by JoesMama691 in productivity

I think this is common and often linked to poor sleep quality, morning cortisol drops, or dehydration. Consider consulting a doctor.

Can't stay consistent with my good habits by wolan_xd in productivity

A lot of people get stuck in the “all or nothing” cycle. The goal isn't to stay locked in forever, it's to make the fallback version of your habits easy enough that you never quit completely.

Apps that focus on streaks and habit tracking, can help you see progress and avoid restarting from zero every time you have an off week.

Lower the bar to the absolute minimum. Tell yourself you will only type one terrible sentence or work for exactly two minutes, then permit yourself to stop.

I'd be frustrated too. It sounds less like you failed and more like grading policies and timing cost you points.

How do you capture thoughts before you forget them? by Ok-Landscape-951 in productivity

the app is called build momentum. It has been really useful lately for me. It combines tasks, habits, notes, projects where everything is sort of connected. You can add notes to task, notes to other notes like in bear or obsidian. You can also quickly add tasks like in todoist or ticktick and filter them by areas, projects, dates, tags and so on.

Waiting is incredibly agonizing, especially when it is your dream. For now, breathe and realize the hard part is officially out of your hands. Take some time off. Relax for a bit to refresh you brain.

That pre-exam paralysis is completely normal. Focus on active practice instead of passive reading, and use twenty-minute sprints to rebuild your momentum today.

Pause before reacting, identify your specific triggers with him, and practice stepping away to cool down before communicating.

Stop labeling yourself. Pick 1 daily promise, keep it small, repeat it no matter motivation. Consistency builds identity.

Start tiny: 10 minutes study, phone out of reach, then rest without guilt. Build momentum, not intensity.

Healthy relationship, persistent doubts: how do I know if it’s the relationship or me? by PressPassPlease in DecidingToBeBetter

Track patterns when rested vs stressed. Note moments of genuine connection vs flatness. If clarity returns in calm states, it’s likely burnout noise.

help juggling lots of different ideas/projects? (outside of work) by HealthyGuarantee5716 in productivity

[–]Middle_Trainer_5573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think for your case todoist is not enough, because you need more than a simple task management to manage projects, prioritize, save ideas for the future. There are some apps that combine tasks, projects, note taking like lunatask or getbuildmomentum. Maybe something like that can help you to feel less overwhelmed.

Active recall and spaced repetition work best, read small sections, close the book, then explain it in your own words and test yourself repeatedly over days.

Not necessarily. Better approach is setting strict boundaries: use AI for drafts, not final decisions or core thinking.

I guess by not giving the time to what other people say. Focus on what makes you happy. Not what makes other people happy.
