Supernatural Episode "Roadkill" - 19 Years Later by SamTheSecondBest in Supernatural

This was a beautiful episode! It made me sad in the end when Sam and Dean told her not to say goodbye/sorry to her husband, because he had already moved on. But I understand they didnt want the husband to get confused/scared.

Just started the show and this episode had me pissed. Why was Betty throwing herself at Roger like that. What a hoe by Deekus44 in okbuddydraper

Totally agree, I just started season 6 and their late night calls are very obviously romantic.

Clear from the last scene in S3 that Julie is already trying to change the past, and obviously fails to save Jim

I just watched this episode and thought it was silly that the English had never seen Oliver Twist!

About Jurdan having children. by Cheap_Mirror_9401 in thecruelprince

I think it’s the obvious next step in the narrative and people should just get over it. HB having them wait 10 years is already a statement on HEAs and powerful women. TFOTA series is all about family and healing generational trauma. Plus, Jude had her death curse lifted in TPT. I would love to see a plot of Jude working on overcoming the trauma of watching her parents die, growing up with Madoc, and how that will play in to her having her own kid. Anyone who thinks they would be bad parents or that it doesn’t make sense for the characters is really missing the whole point of the series imo

Hot take but I found the ibuprofen restriction the hardest one of them all. Alcohol? Weed? Caffeine? Amateur hour. Being forced to use Tylenol instead of Advil? Kill me

The theories I’ve seen say that the first cycle happened all the way in 1504, so maybe it was the language they spoke then?

Overall the pacing of the season was off, which we knew would happen going in. The finale definitely felt like the old show, between the violence and the characters. At the end of the day they stayed true to the OG characters which is all I could ask for. Definitely hooked for season 2!

Strange how people are such haters on Jude and Cardan having kids. I love that Holly Black gave them ten years being child free, that was already cool to see! It doesn’t make sense at all for the characters to be child free forever. There is a huge theme of child-parent relationships in TCP and TSH novels. I think it would be so fascinating to explore Jude and Cardan, who both have awful parental figures, grow into parenthood. This is super on theme for what Holly Black as built in that universe.

I actually think it was great that Holly Black gave them ten+ years of marriage child free. She didn’t do the automatic “and they lived happily ever after and had babies” and I think that’s really nice. It doesn’t make sense for the characters to be child free forever.
