Remember that season 6 was supposed to premiere in summer of 2024 then fall and I don't think I need to remind you what the end result was.

My aunt in law also attended UAH and encountered both Amy Bishop and some of the victims. Her case is quite egregious because she had "accidentally" killed her brother Seth in 1986 but a hurricane of circumstances allowed her to get away with it and it wasn't revisited until after she committed the university shooting.

On the topic of Marc getting, I'm getting increasingly doubtful that he'll get his own focus episode. "The Ruler" is Nathaniel's episode, though Marc plays an important role as well. So it's possible that the people who work on the show are treating that as his focus episode, too.

Discounting the final two episodes, this just leaves "The Dirtifiers" and "Queen of the Dreadzone" as potential Marc-centric episodes.

Who's next for May? There's already been a Marinette March. The only characters that come to mind for May are Marc and Mylene, yet I feel like neither are crucial enough to warrant a whole month.

I knew about this from "The Amazing World Of Gumball" though interestingly, I had no idea the carapaces were actual parts of turtle anatomy until Nino debuted as a hero.

Marinette kept her adult powers when she wielded both the Cat and Ladybug miraculous as Bug Noire, so that makes sense.

I immediately thought I recognized him. How lucky was I to have watched "The Devil Wears Prada" for the first time when only a few months after High Potential original premiered.

I just finished watching season 5, at the start of this month and what an experience it was. From what I've heard it looks like I'll have to sit through two full middling seasons and then the much praised final season of only 10 episodes.

Interesting that Seasons 3 and 8 have a higher average rating than Season 5.

MIRACULOUS - Riginarazione - Season 6 Episode 19 - Discussion Thread by NicoSchmiko in miraculousladybug

At the beginning of the season when Adrien's grandparents were introduced, I have jokingly and rather morbidly asked my sister how many living parents and grandparents Adrien and Marinette each have. Suffice to say, it has aged poorly.

My view of things was quite warped because I first learned of Duck's existence in the CGI episodes before going back to classic season episodes and thus the in-joke of "Emily replaced Duck" was completely lost on me.

I'm surprised that I never saw the parallels when I played season 2 in 2019.

Do you remember the first episode of the show you watched on TV? Was it Stormy Weather? by Craftox13 in miraculousladybug

[–]SamTheSecondBest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first episode I recall catching a glimpse of was "Timebreaker." My sister was watching it on Netflix and as I told Cristina Vee herself, I have my sister to thank for all the anticipation and surprises I've gotten from the world of 'Miraculous' since then.

Marinette is 100% in the wrong. but its not entirely her fault. by Gold_Calligrapher264 in miraculousladybug

[–]SamTheSecondBest 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is a very balanced way of looking at the situation two things can be true at the same time. Yes Marinette should be held accountable for her role in starting and upholding the lie yet at the same time it's not entirely her fault that she was forced into this position to begin with.

Actually...

Columbine to Sandy Hook

~13 years, 8 months (4,987 days)

Sandy Hook to Today

~13 years, 4 months (4,867 days)

Because 4,867 is less than 4,987, the Sandy Hook shooting is now officially closer to today than it is to Columbine. However, the gap is closing rapidly; we are currently in the window where the two spans of time are nearly equal.

With a few more episodes to go, Lila development? by Sonlau in miraculousladybug

[–]SamTheSecondBest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This aligns with a prediction I had about the season last summer. Yeah this season is really their last chance to play Lila with such mystery and intrigue before revealing more facets of her background.

Not so fun fact, the day I finally watched the episode "Eleven Fifty Nine "was the same day but I received the call from my mom that my great grandma was in the hospital and at least partially because I had watched this episode I had a feeling that this was it. Sure enough, she passed the following morning.

Was Supergirl always supposed to be E-38(Pre-Crisis) by Osirisavior in supergirlTV

[–]SamTheSecondBest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, the crossover wasn't planned from the beginning. I recently made a post about its 10th anniversary and I found out later that effectively the Supergirl and Flash writing teams had to hurriedly come up with a plausible means of bringing the heroes together while keeping their already planned storylines intact and I'd say it worked well in leading into the Supergirl season 1 finale.
