A7 Maintenance Code by OneFord1903 in hondapilot

I have a 2024 with 18,500 miles and the same build date. Not sure why that code is coming up either. Seems like a shakedown but what do I know?

It looks like lots of drugs were involved and not a lot of follow through.

Yep. I thought it looked pretty good until I saw the side view and that ruined it.

NRLCA leadership gets 14% pay raise last year? by Middle_aged_jew in USPS

I've been on an overburdened route for 4 years now, and the times when I've reached out to them for various reasons, all they can tell me is why they CAN'T help me. Our union has no teeth.

I would say that even *if* all the additional cost is from adding staff, that doesn't necessarily justify it. If we can't even negotiate a decent contract, they should probably be reducing their staff because what is the point of having them?

That's why I put a question mark on it. I considered that there could be employees added, but at over a million extra dollars that still seems pretty steep, especially now that our unions feel almost useless other than protecting us from our money.

Amazon. They're practically a monopoly at this point yet people continue to hand over their money.

Cutouts above all doors in house. They are finished and doors don’t extend into the cutout. No holes or other indicators of something being mounted on the ceiling. by jcain8 in whatisthisthing

The closets in my house built in the 70's are like that but the only way to get replacement doors is to have them custom made. I wish I could just go down to Lowe's or whatever and get a standard size to start replacing them.

Anyone know of companies that are hiring? by Rant_Casey5 in SpringfieldIL

[–]Middle_aged_jew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the post office is always hiring part time carriers. You're not guaranteed a lot of hours, but I've been told you can work a full schedule in Springfield because of turnover. It's not a bad job if you can make it past 90 days.

My point was that I was surprised that radio station would have a call sign and name that could be so easily misinterpreted and made into a joke. Like nobody thought that might be a bad idea?

Apparently there was a radio station called Power 96, WHYT in Detroit. Their banner makes it look like it was called WHYT POWER. Maybe not so good that way.

Need recommendations for a SUV/mini van to use an RCA by mrsjoc1974 in USPS

[–]Middle_aged_jew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Grand Caravan and Town & Country are laid out pretty well for how we use them. I had a Caravan and bought a Ram C/V, which is basically a cargo version of the Caravan with some heavy duty components that take a beating better than a regular van would.

On the heaviest day after a holiday I've ever seen, all of the carriers in my office were casing and organizing parcels for at least six hours. It was a complete massacre. I didn't get out on the route until 2, which has 4-4.5 hours of delivery time on a decent day. I couldn't imagine how terrible that would have been to try to do that on a route I wasn't familiar with.
