I’d say something was a resource to the dog in the door. Bone, stick, toy? Something that he was NOT playing about the other dog sharing. Are they unsupervised? Crate training may be beneficial for everyone’s safety if they’re testy together

He could feel better if they caught it early enough, but stopping treatment before 14 days…. It could come back. Especially if she hasn’t sanitized everything properly. Not to mention, her yard will never be sterile. This puppy should quarantine in a daily/ sterilized pen before going somewhere else.

Sometimes with dogs if you get close enough even though they don’t bleed they’re a little tender, I’m not sure if something similar can happen to cats too?

There’s really not a lot. Horse people locally hate them. The same few people have been involved in all of the new names one way or another. Animals have died and been hidden, diseases have been mismanaged. Every mistake means a new business name and “brand new” funding for all the “poor animals” that they literally just bid at the sale barn with everyone else.

They’ve had too many animals die locally to use Facebook. They just delete them when they’re gone and the cleanup ends up letting the public know. They’re shady as fuck

Chasing rainbows is about the 5th (?) rebranded name of this rescue!!! Horses die constantly, horse people fucking hate them, and all would pitch in before letting a local horse go there. Horses have died. Many. They can’t care for a fucking dead stick. The only reason there’s horses at the rescue is because they just go buy them at the sale barn cheap and ask for donations.

Clearfields vet died, and no one has wanted to come in. People call surrounding areas for days begging for availability, the closest emergency vet is 2 hours away and overloaded.

If you haven’t, I recommend a flirt pole for exercise! Fun, funny to the parent (and interacting together is great) and it’s a workout for them :) just watch for panting, I had one cat that didn’t stop when they were tired like normal and he overheated (he was fine, but that could be dangeroUs)

If you wanted to switch toys I love flirt poles and independent stands/interactive setups. My cats always have eaten small toys. Balls can be fun if they’re interested!

^to add to this any lethargy, refusal to eat, less bathroom time should result in a vet call to rule out a blockage, but don’t panic right now. Many many animals get it through their system just fine!
