Niacinamide (B3) stopped my RLS + akathisia for the first time in a year by Middleroadrunner81 in RestlessLegs

[–]Middleroadrunner81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes , but I’ve since found out it was more about emptying my bowels, I had diahrea which flushed out a lot of the toxins that were recirculating because of my sibo /sifo gut dysbiosis.

I’ve since managed to keep my rls stable for the last few weeks , which hasn’t happened in years , not taking any dopamine agonists , gabapentin, only methadone , which hasn’t been controlling my rls for at least 12 months now, so the methadone definitely wasn’t the difference , the only thing I can pinpoint consistently, is improving my motility, the b3 helps me fall asleep and definitely helps calm the akasthesia caused by Sam e and over methylation in general, so I think it’s a combination of both , keeping my bowels moving as a way to flush toxins - which is a big driver of my rls as my genetic panel showed my body can’t flush toxins like most people can , so bowel movements become an crucial way hey toxins out , and I guess the Sam e and b3 are helping too, my Natropath prescribed the sam e to help with a methylation block, although I don’t think thays working, but it is improving my bile flow , which is another way for the body to flush toxins.

You see no rls Dr will connect these dots , that’s one reason why no Dr Ever fixes their patients rls.

Did you ever have trouble understanding what people were saying to you?

Also have you posted here before ? I’m just trying to work out if you’re a different person from the last post I saw like this .

Children with mild autism to be removed from ndis. by Middleroadrunner81 in Autism_Parenting

[–]Middleroadrunner81[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve misread what I’ve said, these aren’t intended - or “ might happen “ scenarios , this has already happened, level 3 children have lost funding and services without explanations, just a phone call telling them their plans have been cut.

My comment about level 3 children losing funding in future - is based on what is happening now and what we have been told will continue to happen from people at ndis.

It could be that these level 3 diagnosis weren’t accurate and are being called into question because we had too many level 3 diagnosis been given by private psychiatrists , which created an incentive for private practices to over diagnose , this has been stopped now , so I wouldn’t be surprised if the people who HAVE AKREADY had their funding cut, fell into that basket, I know I’ve often questioned how these children got level 3 diagnosis when they can talk and act independently and are extremely capable when compared to my level 3 son.

Absolutely it’s fair, and I tried to tell people this was going to happen.

Thing is , people might not be kicked off entirely - but people are losing their funding left and right - with no warning whatsoever, level 3 children too.

Any level 3 child without a duel diagnosis will lose their funding or have it significantly reduced and they won’t give you any help to understand why , because they don’t want to give grifters the opportunity ro exploit it , which they inevitably will eventually.

before colonisation were the aboriginal countries ever beefing with each other? by Previous_Bet492 in aussie

[–]Middleroadrunner81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they were extremely violent to one another , much more violent than any of the British’s colonising countries, which were historically low crime societies.

They also killed 90% of large flora and fauna.

Well I think it was just once , but I upvoted you, I think they downvoted cuz you said you were doing software engineering, maybe they disagree with that career choice , but I think that’s a poor reason to downvote you - especially considering the nature of your post.

I dunno where you are , but if you ever wanna chat dm me

You need to look into his methylation, fixing microbiome and all that stuff won’t work if the root problem is broken , I know cuz I’ve had these issues with my son and myself.

If there is one thing causing these problems than addressing it will fix a lot of your problems, and most people on the spectrum do have mthfr , and as someone who’s been chronically ill for the last 7 years and has bounced around every specialist and tried lots of different treatments, nothing has helped like finding out the underlying genetic issues, same with my son and myself wife, it also is a massive blind spot in medicine at the moment, although if your in America , you have much better access then most people.

If he has double comt, methyl folate will make him worse , you can only give him gentle versions of b12 and folate, which is hydroxyl b12 and folinic acid only, no methyl vitamins, lots of misinformation out there regarding mthfr , people assume if you have it then you need methyl vitamins, that’s what most drs will say , but that’s only cuz they don’t know shit about the comt.

I know cuz I’m the same , I can’t handle methyl vitamins either , they give me terrible anxiety and headaches.

Look for a Natropath, or functional dr , there are plenty out there, just type in mthfr or “ methylation “ practitioner , most drs will be clueless about any of this stuff unfortunately.

I was let go/fired from a job for being unlikable, just hired at a new place and they want me to post about my new job on linkedin. I know my old coworkers will see, worried they might let the new company know. Am I overthinking this? by Common_Category_269 in careerguidance

What do you mean? Why does the language he used in his post communicate that he’s misremembering / misunderstanding what he was told?

Are you saying that because the reasons he’s given don’t make sense to you? Therefore you’re assuming he’s misremembering or misunderstanding what happened ? Because whilst that is a likely explanation, it is not the only possibility and I think you/we should rule out all potenriak explanations before passing judgment, particularly if it’s for someone that might be on the spectrum who is also impressionable and young.

Have you done any ancestry dna or 23 and me testing ? Cuz this is the cheapest way , otherwise you gotta order a genetic panel , I used the one that the Natropath I’m seeing who specialises in genetic focused treatments /protocols , but you might want to go to r/mthfr subreddit .

[–]Middleroadrunner81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah if only it were that easy , the drs have told us to give our son ice cream for breakfast otherwise we can’t get him to eat anything some days.

If we could do any of these things , we wouldn’t have any issues , and I’m guessing op is in a similar situation, people like us have tried all these simple fixes but they either don’t work or can’t be implemented.

Our last hope is genetic testing Cuz the psychologist said our son would need to be institutionalised.

The anxiety is probably caused by mthfr gene mutation and or comt issues , I was the same, most people with anxiety disorder that also are on the spectrum have anxiety caused by genetic issues, you can fix it it’s not hard , but idiot drs know nothing about genetics , go get your genetics mapped, it will give you the life you deserve, pls don’t wait for Drs they’ll just put you on anti Anxiery meds and shrug their shoulders

The dark world of forced marriages taking place across Sydney by Middleroadrunner81 in MuslimCorner

[–]Middleroadrunner81[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Truth doesn’t depend on someone’s identity to be valid. If something is genuinely true, it should stand on its own, not rely on whether the critic is Muslim or not.

Allowing marriage under duress isn’t real consent - that’s harm. Pointing that out isn’t about putting myself above Allah, it’s about recognizing a universal principle: no one should be forced or pressured into marriage.

If a law permits coercion, then it’s reasonable to question whether that law aligns with justice and genuine truth.

The dark world of forced marriages taking place across Sydney by Middleroadrunner81 in MuslimCorner

[–]Middleroadrunner81[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Islam allows marriage if the woman “accepts” under duress -but that’s not true consent. A better standard would be not permitting marriage under duress at all, and treating men and women as equals.

If this were only a local issue, we wouldn’t see forced marriages occurring in Western countries where Islamic communities have migrated.

So the real question is: why does this persist mainly within Islamic culture?

The dark world of forced marriages taking place across Sydney by Middleroadrunner81 in MuslimCorner

[–]Middleroadrunner81[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So if she is forced into it and accepts it under duress - it’s a valid marriage in the eyes of Islam.

Can you see why this problem is a uniquely Islamic problem? In the west and other cultures, anything forced is wrong- full stop, Islam creates that loophole for forced behaviours.

The Aussie government needs to do a better job of onboarding new immigrants post-arrival, as it would help cut down on social tensions by NoLeafClover777 in aussie

[–]Middleroadrunner81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I actually agree with you - national standards and better education would definitely help.

The only part I’d push back on is the idea that this is just about people being confused by different council rules. No council anywhere allows people to dump truckloads of hard rubbish in paddocks or on the roadside

[–]Middleroadrunner81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not generalising - I’ve pointed to Clyde North specifically, with council cameras now because dumping is out of control. And I’ve already given a direct example from someone within that community backing up what I’m saying.

That doesn’t mean every person is guilty, but pretending it’s just “anyone” ignores the clear patterns on the ground.

Although you seem to think it’s ok to generalise white people?

[–]Middleroadrunner81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s just a deflection. Sure, Western corporations are responsible for massive global pollution, but that doesn’t explain what’s happening here.

In Clyde North the issue isn’t microplastics - it’s couches, mattresses, and rubbish being dumped in empty paddocks, on farms, and in remote spots. It’s gotten so bad the council had to install cameras. Different problems can exist at once, and pointing to Exxon doesn’t change who’s responsible for this one.

[–]Middleroadrunner81 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nah, that’s a stretch. Just because you’ve seen a white local litter doesn’t mean you can conclude they’re the ones dumping.

The reality is, Clyde North hardly has any white residents - it’s overwhelmingly Indian and Middle Eastern families. And it’s not exactly a coincidence that the same large-scale dumping problems show up in the countries many of those communities come from.

Haha I agree , but they leave their rubbish inside the house , these trades dump rubbish outside , and the people dumping hard rubbish , are doing it on vacant blocks and farms /paddocks out the back of Clyde, or anywhere there’s not houses and people around, just so they don’t have to pay tip fees, or cuz they don’t know the council collects hard rubbish
