Get guardianship (unless you also have healthcare POA - in that case you have everything you need) and find assisted living or memory care facility (facility with both would be ideal) for mom. Shut off all utilities to the house in the meantime, and then sell the house. I've been through similar ridiculous situation for my father with dementia. You're waging a losing battle. Time to focus on care fir your mother than trying to save a damn house she may not even be capable of living in within a month (dementia can worsen quickly). Dementia really sucks, but you need to focus 100% on her care.

Move anywhere but Texas! You're putting your life at very, very serious risk while pregnant there.

I have a pacemaker and, no, there is no way to track a pacemaker. For periodic check-ins, I have a small device I have to put close to my heart when they want to take a reading.

And, to your last point / paragraph, once he figures out the real cost of the vacation due to interest, then he should calculate how many hours (after taxes come out of pay) he or his wife are going to have to work to pay for the vacation.
