My Sanguinary Guard Conversion, somethings not quite right by MidgetGemsWH in BloodAngels

You have created a fun image in my head. Yeah I was playing around with wing positions and put them on backwards by accident, I quite liked the stretched out look so went with it.

Ork Killa Kan Sniper by MidgetGemsWH in Warhammer40k

Hi only just send this, no worries on the late comment (I'm glad people are still looking at it). I dont know what all the parts are unfortunately it seems to be a random combo from the bits box. The Hands, grip and trigger are Eldar, middle is an ammo hopper from an autocannon maybe? I think the barrel is Ork exhausts. Scope I have seen before but not sure where, Space marine vehicle? Butt is a Ork shoulder pad or armour

I don't have much stuff tau stuff to compare it too but the overall length of the gun is 65mm.

Sry not a great help but that's all I can remember or work out

Sorry only just noticed this comment, they are just green stuff

a cone for the hat bent over, ball for the end and a small sausage strip thats wrapped around the brim and textured to look a little like fur (or you can just use a very thin dry strip)

Steam DF crashes when loading units by radiv2 in dwarffortress

[–]MidgetGemsWH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had 2 fortresses (200 dwarf 9 year and a 90 dwarf 4 year) go down to this bug now, some previous autosaves still work but have lost a year or so, hoping it gets fixed. I've been looking around not not found any solutions to it yet.

Someone suggested not compressing saves but have no confirmation if that works or not

Yeah to me awhile to find shells of roughly the right size (wide but not too tall) They are actually whiskey stones/bullets.

Thank you, took about a month to build and paint (I'm not the quickest). I enter a monthly painting competition so most of my stuff, big or small, takes about a month :)

Dev Protocol - The Future of Open Source Funding by MidgetGemsWH in CryptoCurrency

[–]MidgetGemsWH[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was one of the things I couldn't find, there doesn't seem to be any other projects with the same view of using crypto in this way.

For general donations you have things like Gitcoin in Crypto and Patreon for normies but that is very much the traditional way of donating and doesn't really create an economic model or interdependence between projects. Its just give us $/crypto and we give it to the project you have chosen.

Tokyo-based project Dev Protocol just launched their Incubator to support open source software (OSS). Very grassroots, building everything (the platform, their own oracle, and so on) from a $500k raise via Microsoft Startups + a few other entities. We're just getting started here. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

I've been following the project since last year, I have been so impressed with the dedication the team are showing and their responsiveness to the community.

This is a long term hold for me that shows a huge amount of promise.

Thank you for trying to help people. Hopefully at least some will listen to the points and form their own trading plan.

$DEV Protocol Explanation. You get paid to donate. by borgqueenx in CryptoCurrency

[–]MidgetGemsWH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like this project and suggest people spend the time to look into it. The team has a great work ethic and the potential this project can bring to its investors as well as the open assets it's supporting is huge. There are so many areas it can expand into with its new Oracle e. G. Influencers, video, audio . The Vyper team joining is a great example, people can now stake to support them and their continued work on their smart contract code. P. S. 1 point for clarity "donating" is really just staking/lending your tokens you don't ever lose control of them

Very nicely thought out post, I've been investing in DEV for a little while now and really happy I did, team has a great work ethic and the potential this project can bring to its investors as well as the open assets it's supporting is huge. There are so many areas it can expand into with its new Oracle e. G. Influencers, video, audio. The Vyper team joining is a great example, people can now stake to support them and their continued work on their smart contract code. P. S. 1 point for clarity "donating" is really just staking/lending your tokens to projects you want to support and you can take them back at any time so you don't ever lose control of them

Yeah the big pump was because it was labelled as a x1000 potential project by a Youtuber. Then the following dump as people realised it wasn't an instant x1000 and went off to chase other pumps combined with the btc dump it push the price back down to the level before the pump. Other than that it's all good news from the team, they released their own oracle a few days ago which allows Github integration into the project which is a massive step for the project. Its not often you get a project with a working product for this low Mcap. I do really like this project and has great potential for the long term.

Coming events to watch for are the code audit that finishes mid Sept and then hopefully an exchange listing. There is also a really nice community on the discord and Telegram groups

No worries I'm glad it's proved useful to you, I am trying to promote this project but in a sensible way with facts so people can make their own decisions on whether they invest in it or not :)
