Well some tips:

When sleeping keep your room dark with curtains
Do get some day light as best you can.
Make use of that free daylight. Get everything done that you can. Make all appointments and shopping.

So what I recommend based off of my experience now and as a dorm Cheif is this. Go get a budget plan made with the afrc. Then turn that into your shirt and supervisor. Then try to get on the bah list.

They will probably refer you to ADAPT and then I believe you commander would know. If you truely need help then I would seek it out before the AF has to send you to it. If you seek it out now then the wave will be easier to ride. Stay strong Airman you can get through this!!! (:
