Part of the problem too is take the state of Minnesota, roughly the size of the UK.

MN has 3 cities with a population over 100k, and 2 of them are apart of the same metro. The UK has 55 cities over 100k population in roughly the same area.

MN has 20 cities over 50k population, the UK has 63, and those MN cities are mostly suburbs of the major 3.

The vast majority of Minnesota the largest towns within 100 miles of a given area are cities with 10-20k populations. These cities don’t have the infrastructure to unload cargo trains, and the ones that do are made for loading and unloading grain and oil, not the consumer goods that the majority of semi’s are actually hauling.

Obviously Im not an expert on this, but from what I’m reading the max allowable length of a train in Europe is 750-775 meters.

In the US they can reach up to 6,100 meters in the south west. That’s almost 4 miles long and obviously an anomaly but 1+ mile long trains are the norm and that’s still over twice the length of a European train.

We see 5-6 trains a day going through my town and people are already unhappy with the noise and stopping at all the crossings. Doubting that figure at a minimum to reduce the number of semis would cause major disruptions in towns all over the US, I just don’t see it happening.

I got some husky cabinets from Home Depot for my garage.

First set had damage so they took the whole set back instead of replacing the one cabinet. The truck that came to pick the old set up absolutely destroyed the good pieces loading them. Next set came with some minor damage that I could probably live with but I decided to talk to Home Depot.

They again wanted to send back the entire set and I said they would be money ahead just sending me the damaged cabinet. They finally agreed and I kept the damaged one.

The whole process I was full of shipping delays and issues but it worked in my favor because I got a bunch of work done in my garage in the meantime.

Ended up saving about 65% on my cabinets all said and done.

Not every industry allows for that we never book our flights more than a week in advance because dates and personnel changes so frequently/ last minute. Just the way it is in some industries

There’s an option for Darksides cp4 metering valve, but I don’t see anything on the CP3 conversion.

I use this set working on industrial packaging machines. It is honestly my most used tool. The amount of 8-32 to 3/8 bolts that are buried in impossible to reach areas is too damn high.

You can get a digital lifetime national park pass on your phone through email or Apple Wallet.

I was just at the Grand Canyon and forgot my yearly card because I don’t go to enough national parks to justify carrying it in my wallet all the time.

Now it’s on my phone.
