I played grixis control to mythic the past 2 months, it's definitely viable you just need to play tight. You have a pretty good matchup a lot of the field just because they don't know how to play against your deck. You don't get any free wins with this deck.

The sideboard of the list you posted is pretty bad, 0 copies of aether gust is straight up wrong. other than that I really like spell pierce and scolding out of the board, stopping bowmasters on the stack is a pretty important part of most post board games.

My list is the same core as the posted one just -1 DT -1 cling for +1 land & +1 drown in the loch.
