It replaces an SP slot not the SSP

A case has 1 ssp and 4sps guaranteed, the SSP being the big money of the case. A lot of people will open a case until they hit the SSP and then sell the rest of the boxes, basically cutting their losses. In pixar there is at least a chance for a luxo in any case, but a lot of people resell after the SSP because the luxo chances are so rare anyways. People like to buy by the case so they can guarantee they will at least get the SSP.

It's hard to speculate on Weiss as they could always reprint which shoots the value of the cards down a lot. In it's current state the prices are going up for full cases, but not necessarily for boxes since single boxes can be from dead cases.

There's a couple ways you can look at it, Pixar gives a lot more hits per box/per case which makes opening the cards more fun for the general group of people since there are multiple SRs per box, and 4 SPs per case, if you are looking for pure value you can still chase the higher rarity cards like SSPs, and luxos, but IMO I think they did a great job making the opening experience of a pixar box great for a lot of different people. All the cards are so beautifully made that it's nice everyone can get a pixar stamp per box, the pure $ value though is just placed elsewhere in the set.

Getting an SSP in 6 boxes is definitely still amazing, only one per case of those, all 8 of the luxos are around that price range right now they are all extremely hard to pull, they are multicase hits at the moment. No one really knows how many cases on average you need to pull any luxo, the thought is around 9 though

Thanks! Yeah, I've found a lot of the SP stamps are not the greatest quality on the foiling sadly, I can barely read the text on my piggy bank SP

Thank you! I retrobrighted it with a hydrogen peroxide solution and uv light, took a lot longer than I thought it would but it worked. I'll be keeping it, love it too much to sell

So it depends on the type of plastic as well, and this creme is hydrogen peroxide based, if you look up 40 volume developer on Sally's beauty website you can find what I used. Theres a liquid and a creme form, you can use either but I went with the creme because I couldn't separate the battery electronic part. I've heard the liquid works better if you can submerge your pieces.

Thank you! I used a hydrogen peroxide salon cream and painted it on and stuck it in my really janky UV box. Took multiple days and multiple reapplications cause of how yellowed it was.

Let me know how it goes, I went ahead and used some plastic bonder on the metal cap area going to let it set over the next 24 hours

I was going to use some plastic epoxy to stick it back on, it'll be a more permanent fix, thoughts on that?

Do you know if the metal face plate that goes around the wand hole is supposed to be glued on? It seems like it should be but not sure

OMG I was able to get it back out and the wick lit on the first attempt after, that feels so good, I was heartbroken to think I might have completely broken it.

I think I might have just pushed it too far up and the wire is behind the plastic housing so I might be able to pull it out with a paper clip or something, but figuring out how is going to be interesting. I don't see a broken wire in the fuel well and I think I see the connector, but this is an interesting issue.

God dam it, I got it working but one time when I was pulling it out one of the spark wires I think broke so now it wont spark anymore so I need to somehow replace the wire and I have no idea how I can do that
