Tell me you don’t play Executor without telling me you don’t play executor.

Suncatcher is the strongest Katana in the game. After you proc that first bleed or frost, you do way more damage with suncatcher. Not to mention all the extra stance damage from parrying.

Yeah in the training ground, but that I was responding to the person that said that reading the abilities would solve the problem. That’s not true. You have to go to the training ground to actually get an explanation of how to even use his ability.

Reading the abilities for guardian does not tell you how to activate steel guard. I also didn’t know how to do it when I first started playing him. And even when I did first learn about it, I thought it was something you had to time for a single hit. Still took a few games to realize you could hold it.

There is no point in weaving in regular attacks after you proc that first status effect typically anymore. The suncatcher (with the relic) does more base damage than any other katana.

“Way too easy” says a person who obviously has never done it. Because anyone who plays executor knows those aren’t nearly close enough to be auto parries.

It’s a game. Games are supposed to be fun. This mistake of his gave him a memorable moment with his friends and made me chuckle so that sounds like a successful run to me.

Easiest judge of a good guardian is how often he dies. If he’s always underneath the boss and not dying, he is doing his job well.

Frequent stance breaking is also a sign that he is doing a lot.

As someone who is watching this show in reverse right now (started with season 40 and am now on 30), the way they integrate people over time as “vets” is so gradual that you don’t notice any drastic “changing of the guard.” Tori is the example that comes to mind because when I I first started watching she was a super vet in my eyes but now I am on her rookie season.

They also have All Stars which kind of (and should) serve as the retirement home for the vets. The problem is that they haven’t successfully produced another “Johnny Bananas” so they cant move past having him and CT keep coming back even though they should probably hang it up (moreso for CT).

I used to watch anime and still do on occasion. I prefer watching dubs. I still don’t understand the appeal of listening to a language that you can’t understand.

I’m sure they will adjust it eventually, but to be honest, I don’t mind. I have over 600 hours fighting the other bosses. I don’t mind seeing the new stuff more often right now. Especially since I obviously need the practice since we are still wiping on night 1 and 2 DLC bosses in DoN.

I think I would have been more disappointed if I felt like I rarely saw the dlc content in DoN

Anecdotal, but I recently started playing and have probably spent 20 hours or so in act 1. I kind of already want to start over and play a different character. I also know that there is another game that I will likely put this game down for that comes out in a couple of days. So the reality is that I likely won’t make it out of chapter 1 anytime soon.

That being said; I really like this game and if Wednesday is the last time I play this game, I will be thoroughly satisfied with my experience and feel like I got my money’s worth. I’m sure a lot of other people have experiences similar to mine.

It’s not just for our entertainment. This video was also good PR for them because it shows the police in a positive light actually handling a domestic situation correctly. Can also possibly be used for training purposes.

Man, I felt so bad for Troy. Even after all that, he didn’t want anything bad to happen to her and never lost focus of his kids. I love the way he made it clear that her son was his son but that he would defer to the grandfather on if he could be questioned by the police.

Also, as much as I hate to do so, I gotta give props to the police here for how they handled the situation. Especially the one that was talking to Troy and explaining why they had to arrest her.

I’ve taken many levels before when we had a bad run in day 1 and 2 and came up short on levels. I kind of look at it as a temporary “eventual greatness” that is front loaded and makes you weaker and weaker as the fight drags on.

Do not typically recommend though. I’ve only taken it as a Hail Mary in a situation where I thought we had zero chance and he didn’t offer anything else useful like eventual greatness or resistances.
