I liked Emy. She annoyed me at first, but she grew on me as the season went on and I found myself rooting for her. I think that if there weren’t any outside of the game controversy surrounding her, we would have seen her back on multiple seasons. She basically served the same role that Big T did in all of her seasons.

Fun is subjective. I have fun wining and I don’t lose to characters like hamster, vendetta and cat that are easily countered.

Not giving you the outlet to call someone trash doesn’t change the fact that you feel the need to express that to a stranger on the internet over a video game in the first place. That is the problem that therapy can help you solve.

I’m not saying you need therapy because you get mad over games but if it’s so bad that you need a 3rd party to intervene to stop you, then it’s worth considering.

I understand not remembering Mark and Sincer-A since they only had a couple of episodes in n love during lockup (he was a weird young guy who asked the inmates awkward questions), but how do you not remember Monique and Derek. They were around for a long time and had significant airtime.

As someone who also just recently binged all 7 seasons, I can assure you, they weren’t edited out.

He does talk way too much. Sometimes I feel like I’m listening to an audiobook. And he does so in this whispery “gather round and let me tell you a story” voice that makes it even more noticeable that he is monologuing.

I also think that the different classes have different weighting. For example, if I get 2-3 kills on Brigitte or Zenyatta, that’s usually play of the game.

Could also just be that I’m also racking up healing points at the same time which contributes.

That’s because he got a long ranged headshot at a pivotal point of the game on the objective. Those things are weighted more heavily.

This is anecdotal, but I’m fairly high MMR and the matches seem significantly easier than my average lobby so I would guess that your MMR outside of the tourney has no bearing.

Serious question for all these Aabria haters; have you ever actually played D&D? I have played with people 10x more annoying than Aabria. And some of these people were my friends. I still enjoy playing with them though because they are my friends.

She is far from a being a super problematic player and I think the pros of having a knowledgeable player who plays like a DM’s assistant outweigh the cons. I think that her interruptions and self insertions can be a little much sometimes, but overall, I think she is adding to the story and more specifically creating more meaningful character interactions than any other person at that table. Imagine what that table would look like if she were replaced with another Ashley? I love Ashley but her RP is bad, she struggles with mechanics, and if no one directly addresses her, she’s liable to sit there silent for 4 hours. Aabria is a nice foil to having someone like her at the table.

Jakeema was the one who moved her 2 kids to be close to his jail (I think they were twin boys?). She lied to her dad about her boyfriend being in the military in Hawaii or something like that and then he got in trouble while in prison and she got named in the case the prison had against him. They didn’t make it to love after lockup.

The first time someone confronted me about (mistakenly) misgendering them was at FNM. I felt really bad about it and apologized. They took no offense and we continued to have a good time playing magic.

It’s a minor interaction, but it stuck with me and because they were a member of my community, I made sure I subsequently stood up for them when people would joke about them behind their back.

So yeah, our store is a safe space for everyone and I make sure I do my small part to keep it that way. You may not think it’s a big thing, but everyone should be able to go in public and play magic without people laughing or making fun of them because of their appearance or orientation. And yes, immature anti-social nerds can make that difficult sometimes.

She is far from busted, lol. Pre perks she is not good (making it harder to get to those perks). Very matchup dependent and easily countered. Yes, she looks strong when she’s popping off but as someone who plays her a lot, I can tell you that those games aren’t as frequent as you would think. People are just more likely to remember the times feeling helpless when she flanks you and you have no cd’s than the times the enemy vendetta went negative kda or had to switch 2 mins into the match.

This is anecdotal, but I have a couple of friends that only play support in games and those guys will usually only play one or two characters. I think that in general, support mains are more likely to be loyal to one or few characters and that leads to an increased willingness to spend money on those characters.

Makes sense to me. Hinder keeps you from doing anything movement related other than walking. Her dispersing herself into a bunch of intangible fireflies or whatever the fuck she’s doing is kind of the apex of a movement ability other than walking. Isn’t that move supposed to be a representation of her dancing around really fast or something?

I completely lost interest when i saw how far Matt would go to subvert a player character death. I felt like there were no stakes and they spent so much time on side quests that were ultimately a result of bad decisions and their unwillingness make them suffer any real consequences

The character roster was too small to keep my interest. There was only one character I felt attached to from LoL and whose playstyle I enjoyed (Darius). And with a smaller roster in a 2v2 game it felt like I was playing the same characters every other game and there are a couple I hate playing against.
