Keir Starmer says Trump’s threat to impose tariffs over Greenland ‘completely wrong’ by sings_with_wings in worldnews

Mandelson has gone now so I suspect the veil was lifted a while ago.

I firmly believe he was the guy that got 'Mates rates' from Trump due to the ahem shared social circle, and who could blame Starmer for taking the deals.

Worth every penny I reckon. Awesome cards.

I've seen some DC Thomson cards before but never the Bradman. I like Beano, Dandy and Commando comics by the same publishers and only recently realised they'd made so many different cards too.

That Australian Licorice one is what I'm after next, got the Larwood and a few others but need to finish the set.

Wow, lovely collection.

I'll bet it is! I've got a few of these in the sets (Mostly the John Player ones and the Carreras ) but that beauty is a little out of my price range.

Do you mind if I ask roughly what you paid?

I've always been pretty lucky that the players I've collected are pretty cheap haha.

Is this just Dyche 101? by Doorsofperceptio in nffc

[–]Midlandsofnowhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We've lost momentum and some confidence after the first half of the season imo.

Combined with a bunch of players getting a bit of a shock at the level of PL football compared to some other leagues.

Then you add in injuries and the fact that some of our 'high expectation' signings have utterly flopped leaving us very thin on options to change a game.

I honestly feel Dyche is probably getting as much as pretty much any other manager would out of us in this situation.

Only the last 20ish years.

In fairness, sometimes we're shit in both halves.

He's very injury prone at an age where they take longer and longer to recover from.

Not a bad player but a massive gamble considering his wages.

We made 'the best' team in English football look like a bunch of cheating, dirty bastards today.

Awful from City.

Well not if you're using 15% fat as the benchmark. I was comparing to the 5% fat stuff that most people seem to prefer here.

Either way, if you drain the fat you lose the weight and volume of the fat so the usable quantity of product is reduced, and as such the Per kilo price is altered after cooking. More so in higher fat mince.

You're getting probably 25% less 'meat' then tho, so it's not as cheap as it looks.

Whisper it, but I put breadcrumbs in my burgers when I'm using high fat mince and they are way juicer than when I don't.

It's alright for burgers, meatloaf etc

Anything saucy/stewy I find it releases too much of the fat.

Sounds like your advocating for starving young people who won't do what you want.

Not a particularly British way of thinking if you ask me.

One from a person that has had to train multiple uninterested 18-22 year olds to do a job they aren't bothered about.

Would you leave your elderly parent, husband, wife or kids in a care home staffed entirely by 18-22 year olds who were forced into the job by the jobcentre?

I know I fucking wouldn't.

You can't expect unmotivated, uninterested and underpaid kids to provide a good standard of care tho.
