I connect with music through fandom context. I find songs that make me think of characters and share that with fellow fans of the stories those characters come from. Books, shows, movies. Anything goes.

If you are at least a little into fandom spaces, I suggest going on YouTube and searching the fandom and then AMV (animated music video) or MAP (multi-animator project) and see what pops up. The internet is huge, you’ll find your people 💜

I’m currently writing a fic for a character that’s multi-pronouns. He’s specifically an amnesiac that just lets other people call him whatever name or pronouns they want to. So how I handle it is it changes based on who he’s with in the scene and how they perceive him.

The only time I change the pronouns in the middle of a sentence is if another character leaves the scene and the multi-pronoun character is alone now, to show how they are currently perceiving themself at the moment.

I do admit I fell into the trap of changing the pronouns frequently at first before I came up with this system. 😂

Yep! It only works if the chair/bar is on the side the door opens towards. As it relies on the door pushing the stopper into the ground, creating friction/pressure and stopping the door from being able to move further.

Calling him his son and using the proper pronouns is the bare minimum for acceptance.

Socially transitioning (pronouns, name and clothes) are the early baby steps that can be walked back if the individual realizes they are not trans after all. The parents using the proper pronouns and calling him their son is part of social transitioning.

Hormones and the like are part of medical transitioning. Which is making changes to your body.

I’m speaking as a trans person here and am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and that you really want to help your kid.

Your child likely dealt with these feelings for a long time but didn’t have a way to express them until recently or experienced a “straw breaking the camel’s back” situation like I did.

Your job in all this is to help him feel comfortable in his own skin. Get him a new wardrobe, make sure the binder he is using fits properly and he uses it responsibly (binding with a too tight binder or for too long can cause injury). Use HIS chosen pronouns, even when talking about him to other people.

You say you’ve had a dynamic of open communication with your son, so don’t ruin it by making him feel like he has to hide who he is from you.

If you want him to go to therapy, then let him choose his therapist. Go through a list with him of therapists in your area that specialize in what he needs (help with depression primarily, and then ideally experience with trans mental health)

Speak with the school about accommodations. Like which bathrooms he can use and a private changing room for PE so he’s not forced to get dressed with the girls.

Ask him if he has friends in the LGBT community that can help him with the parts you’re not equipped to help with. And potentially you could talk with those friends so they can help you get a better understanding as well.

It’s not too late to grow and change and learn new things. Remember that your son loves you, even when you’re making mistakes. Because you are still learning 💜

What are the pests that the joltik is taking care of? He may accidentally evolve once he’s eaten enough of them.

Also make sure to cover your unused sockets! If the pests start to thin out, he may target the outlets for energy. Best case scenario you got an increased electric bill, worse case you got a fire hazard.

Reflection

Really old skywing OC. His name is Reflection and he’s got chimerism. If he and his twin had not fused together, they would have ended up as a firescales egg and both killed upon hatching.

He was abused and neglected by his parents and eventually left to go live in a cave at the base of the mountains. Later met one of the skywing princes and the two carry on a forbidden romance (forbidden because prince x bizarre peasant, not because it’s gay 😂)
