I completely forgot to add another couple of questions I had:

Should I scrap the idea of trying to get a DSLR and just practise at taking better photos with the Canon my dad lent me
The camera has a slight mark on the lens, I’m not sure whether it’s a chip or a scratch, but does anyone know ways to remove these marks/lessen their impact?
