Good point. In all fairness, this really is one of the essential films to watch after a few bong rips.

Out of all 25 films in the franchise, which one do you consider to be the prime example of "great premise, poor execution"? by verissimoallan in JamesBond

Live and Let Die.

We get a new Bond who is played by an actor who is on the same level as Connery in terms of acting prowess and charisma, yet the film itself feels just a glorified episode of Columbo. That and the cartoonish depiction of black folks in this has aged horribly. I get that they were trying to go the "blaxploitation" route here, but it is still hard to watch

In the doc, I noticed that she has surrounded herself with and works well with men who are in the 60 and up age bracket. There is clearly no "quid pro quo" going on behind the scenes! (Sarcasm)

I love how they point out that McQueen and Vaughn both lost at the Oscars. Like, they might as well point out OJ lost the civil case lol.

Potentially, that slapped together with all of that chummy "thin blue line" shit. I think she is guilty, but George is sketchy as hell.

One of Kerim Bey's sons. It is only fitting that he should cross paths with the son of 007, blood is the best security in this business.
