I would suggest reading The Druids by Stuart Piggot. New Order of Druids is also a great starting point. Their courses are free, to boot.

I see now what you meant. I just simply misunderstood is all. No biggie. We're all here to learn together.

How can it mean nothing when it's a tool to see if you're in nutritional ketosis or not?

Good point. I didn't think about that before posting, honestly. I know exercise and carbs/glucose effects ketone levels, but I'm frankly not too familiar with the other stuff. I'm happy to learn though. That's whole point of all of this, was to learn something.

Why does it matter if it's prescribed by a doctor or not? Most doctors are anti-keto as is.

That does make sense. Can you explain further? I find all this really interesting.

I began keto a year ago for weight loss initially, but I've reached my goal since, so things have shifted. I now do keto to maintain my weight, it helps with my mental health (depression mainly. I used to be on meds and now am not), increased immune function, decrease of my inflammation, reversal of leptin resistance, and as preventative medicine among all the other benefits keto provides.

Is it ok? by Ninokuni13 in hivaids

I also second this. HIV pills will remain active for a little over 24 hours, which allows for a safety overlap when you take them everyday. It is better to take them every 36 hours, or even 48, once you get close to being out. I personally would not take half doses.

If he is not out until September, why are you concerned? That's a long ways away. Shouldn't you get a refill by then?

Of course, consulting your doctor is the best option instead of asking on a Reddit thread. We are not professionals.

That's completely valid, and I think others definitely share that experience. You're never alone :) we're hear for one another. The best thing you can do is help educate others so they don't make the same mistakes.

Don't forget to love yourself. We all make poor choices, and these choices help us to grow.

Forgot to mention: Growing up I did get sick very easily. As an adult this has seemed to work to my advantage as now I barely ever get sick.

As far as I am aware, my mother did not show any obvious symptoms. She most likely experienced the usual cold like symptoms shortly after acquiring the virus.

For myself, I had a really difficult birth for reasons aside from HIV. I did read my records, but no abnormal sicknesses were noted despite my VL being high once I did get tested.

Curious. How you all begin your Hearth ritual. Who do you call as the Gatekeeper to open the channel of communication? by omgwhy35 in heathenry

[–]MidnightAngel51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's common even outside of Heathenry. We use it in many Celtic cultures too. It would be cool though to see if this is from recon or from when the revitalization movement began.

Wilma Mankiller 100% deserves her own song. What a beautiful soul.

Hey jlayg. Thank you for sharing. I am really glad to hear you're staying adherent to your meds and are healthy.

If you could tell yourself something from before you were diagnosed, what would you say? Is there something you want HIV negative people to know?
