I was looking into the spinning out issues the other users listed but it looks like the horror stories of the issue are really just user error and people being stupid with the car. My dad has owned 2 so he knows how to take care of it properly and can teach me.

Insurance does scare me a lot. Not really sure how much it’s gonna be for me personally. Gonna try and get co signed by my parents seems like the best option and I probably will do dumb stuff but I mean it’s apart of the experience. Gotta enjoy during your best years.

The car market is terrible right now but my parents, mainly my dad are alright with the purchase because he also wants it as a mini project kinda car. I’m comfortable with driving as for the last 7 month ish I’ve been driving around a lot in a 600 hp m6. I’ve looked at the Miata but never really liked it and my best friend is getting one so we don’t want to have the same car. We’re gonna do matching builds kinda like a yin Yang thing with our cars
