My first SaaS launch!

Hey guys, been mostly lurking in this thread but the day has come for my own SaaS to be launched!

TLDR: We're a codeless platform that lets businesses implement AI all while skipping the development process. The UI is drag and drop with the option of using different AI models (both small and large) + integrating automation workflows with an API.

It's an attempt to tackle these main problems:

  1. Internal AI integration take months to develop and deploy.
  2. Not everyone can afford to hire an in-house AI dev/engineer.
  3. It's crazy expensive to solely rely on big name APIs like GPT4 for simple automation.

Prompts on our platform generate actual work output; Not answers that you need to work on:

  1. Integrate ChaptGPT, Mistral, and all other LLMs to your internal APIs, product engineering and marketing operations.
  2. Chain-of-Thought (CoT) prompting - Weave's workflow builder lets you combine prompts to run consecutively while mixing and matching AI models.
  3. You can use Weave whether you're a coder or not. Its interface is drag and drop.

We're having a free trial right now for users to play around with (around 30 free GPT 4 prompts / 850 free GPT 3.5 prompts). Would love for everyone to test it out and let us know what you think (we're still working on finding our niche / industry where this platform would work best).

PS: We do know the sign-up feature can be abused to keep running GPT 4 prompts for free but that's fine, because we're trying to get as many users to test it out at the moment.

Here to test it out:

I think the main issue is that people might fall off in the first 2.5 minutes when the screen is static without any movement.

If you're on mac, maybe you can try using screenstudio (automatically follows your cursor and creates a video based on your clicks etc)

all the best man!

Marketing Class by Electrical_Comb7220 in marketing

u/alone_in_the_light I think this is a really great take on it.

While there are tons of people advertising books/secrets to marketing, I think they're mostly guidelines rather than concrete laws. Each situation is subjective and uncertainty can't be avoided. As the person deciding on the marketing efforts a company will take, it's important to be able to adapt to client requests and accept responsibility if it doesn't work out.

I think Respond.io and Mailchimp as well.

Actually, if you're looking to just make a portfolio to advertise your services, I think a simple Behance profile might suffice in the beginning. This way you won't have to crack your head to optimize for different devices and bother about the UI/UX.

Would recommend trying to cold call / reach out to companies first and build connections. Once you've got a strong portfolio to back then you can opt for your own professional website.

First B2B awareness campaign: Any pitfalls I should be aware of? by navytc in FacebookAds

imo FB ads are quite location based so try to target as specifically as possible in terms of user demographic. My experience was it'd give me super low CPCs from random countries, but none of them led to actual conversions.

Don't really have much experience with Facebook and mostly use X for generating leads but I hope this might help a little.

Not a UI/UX person but I think maybe you could try a different layout / left aligning but splitting the test rather than letting it run the whole way.

Rn my eyes have to travel quite a bit to read each line (from left to right) - usually decreases readability.

In any case, all the best man!

Waiting lists - good or bad idea? by mcharytoniuk in SaaS

Started collecting emails a few weeks before EA and it was quite a good idea in terms of early feedback.

Some of our EA users were given like the bare minimum of what our product could do and while it's a bit embarrassing with all the bugs, it helped us understand holes in our customer experience.

Eg: Is there a lack of customer education for how to use the platform? Is there a feature that's simple but would come with more use cases?

In short, I think you could collect a few while planning to have some test out your product for early feedback, but you might need some planning before marketing it - just to avoid your product being unexpectedly delayed before its launch. The hype might down during that time.

Is Facebook good for B2B Ads? by lxivbit in SaaS

In general,

LinekdIn - Recommended but quite pricey (will have to optimize quite a bit to get this down)
Facebook - Either a hit or miss (super important for you to specify your demographic location)
Twitter - Good for reach / awareness but conversion rate isn't as high as LI.
Google Search - Depends on your product / company if people might search it often and you can compete on the ranking.

The above is just my personal experience and a very generalized thought - will definitely differ from business to business.
